Excellent for 75 gallons. Suction is just right—not too quick, but strong enough to thoroughly clean my tank. I used a plastic garden hose female bib to attach a siphon hose to a garden hose in order to utilize mine. I open the faucet while the garden hose's other end is still attached, and water begins to flow into the tank. The water hose is then unscrewed, creating a suction in the siphon, without shutting the water off. When the water is entirely disconnected, it comes siphoning out and cleans the gravel as usual. I believe that the long hose's constraint prevents the siphon from sucking water out at a rapid pace as described in some of the other reviews. The pricing and power were satisfactory to me. I no longer have to carry water in buckets thanks to this very clean way. That is simply how I empty the tank. Hope this was useful.

Undoubtedly, there is a learning curve. I'm a first-time Betta owner attempting to treat my little fish with respect. My tank holds four gallons. And for me, this is perfect.I'll admit that when I first started writing this review, I wanted to give it less stars, but user mistake is sometimes to blame.I saw two videos of people utilizing this particular syphon and a bigger one. I'll say that the method I employed in the video I shared is the most effective for this specific syphon. Although there are instructions on the package, I didn't enjoy that you needed to submerge everything.I barely briefly submerged the syphon in the liquid before aiming it directly upward until the liquid almost reached the green portion. I then dipped it in again to fill the syphon before using it. Just make sure the tubing's end is far below your tank, in a bucket or another container that can catch the water. I attempted to place my small bucket on the same surface (table) as my tank, but it made no difference. So, I screwed up there.Instead, one with a pump would be much more preferable so that I could start it straight away. But for the price, this is excellent.

When I opened this package, the first thing I noticed was how carefully and thoughtfully the minimal, almost devoid of packaging concept had been executed, complimented by the cleverly condensed Instructions because, well, you didn't need those anyway, since it's just a bunch of pieces that you stick together in the direction of a small arrow. About all that happens is a minute where you sit back and consider what to do with the vice screw attachment. Everything seems to be of decent quality—nothing seems to be particularly weak or flimsy—and the larger tubing makes cleaning gravel a breeze. The water flow control is great, but it would be wonderful to have a nozzle on the end of it. This would not affect the water flow control's performance, however. Overall, I think this will be fantastic and should make cleaning aquariums simpler. Although I'm not sure why this arrives entirely dismantled, the packing and directions could be much better. When I first opened the plastic bag, I imagined plastic pieces spilling out.

This tiny item is AMAZING! I'm eager to use it on my smaller tanks after just using it to clean a 125 gallon tank. The suction tube is long enough to reach everywhere, including those "hard to reach" areas. Perfect suction is present. The dirty water and debris are removed, but your substrate is left behind. The substrate is pulled halfway up the tube, cleaned thoroughly by swirling it around, and then carefully lowered back into the tank. I adore the clear suction tube since it allows me to see all the dirt being removed from the tank while consuming very little extra water. It worked well and was simple to use. I would strongly advise doing this. A better product is not available for such a fair pricing!

I accidentally ordered this product, but because the maker advised I give it a try nevertheless and offered to send me the other one I wanted at no additional expense, I opted to do so. I'm so happy I did. My worst task, cleaning my turtle tank, was shockingly simple to finish. I started off with the siphon feature, and it was great. Due to the fact that it was driven by electricity rather than a battery, this device possessed a strong suction force. The impeller was so strong that it even sucked up some of my large gravel, but there was no problem because you could quickly dump the gravel out by unscrewing the cover over the impellar and go back to work. This is where the majority of other siphons fall short (and trust me, I've damaged a lot of them in the process). I changed the water completely before using the cleaning feature to specifically clean some of the particles I missed. This application was so simple to use that it turned a task I typically hate into one I enjoyed. Doing business with this company was a real pleasure as well—great customer service.
