The 48x18" dimension is the perfect fit for my Aqueon 75G. Be sure to take accurate measurements because Tetra/Aqueon standard tank sizes aren't always identical. In contrast to my experience with the versatop branded with the Aqueon logo on a separate tank, the adhesives on the handles have been fine for around 5 months as well. I found it difficult to attach the rear strip, so I just placed a drop of dish soap in the groove and slid it on. I then thoroughly wiped the glass to ensure that no residue entered the tank. Overall, I'm really pleased with this canopy set, and the price is unbeatable.

Words cannot express my love for this!! We obtained a previous reptile tank that had been converted to a fish tank. I got a marineland led hood about three and a half weeks ago, so I ordered this one to replace it. In contrast to the Marineland LED Hood, this Hood features 1 Florescent Bulb and illuminates the entire aquarium. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and the hood fits perfectly on a 20-gallon tank. I do like how the hood is made at the back; it has two spaces, one on each end, that are ideal for my electrical connection going to my powerhead for my under-gravity filtration setup and my air hose for a bubbler that I use to assist maintain the same water temperature in the tank. Since I don't use hang-on pumps, the lack of cutouts at the back is acceptable with me. It is marked so that you can cut them out, but just halfway through the hood.

There is a small gap that prevents Aqueon 29g from fitting perfectly. As others have noted, it is really challenging to attach the back plastic flap. I wish they would simply increase the size of the box and sell it already put together and ready to use. It was somewhat moved when I eventually managed to fully attach it, but I didn't want to battle with it again. If I have more time, I might pull it off again and try again, but for the time being, it is working as intended. It's good because the glass is substantial and lovely and thick.

I was unsure if this would fit my Aqueon 20 long tank when I first received it. I knew the measurements, but you always HOPE for a proper fit rather than it being just a little bit too big or tiny. I'm happy to report that it snugly fit into the groove on my tank's rim.The box claims that it is now 25% brighter, but I've read reviews that claim the led isn't that bright. I've uploaded photos of the lid and the light, and while I can't say for sure whether they changed or improved it, I think it is more than bright enough. There are two brightness settings: blue only and white and blue mixed.I uploaded pictures of the unit next to a ruler to show the size of the back cutout. On the back filter side, there is a knock-off for dual filters or a larger filter. At the moment, I'm switching from hang-on back filters to sponge filters, so that won't matter as much for me very soon, but if I had only one filter on there, it would fit great. Getting that back piece of plastic on was a HASSLE, but overall, this lid is good quality for the price. The oil and soap technique I tried didn't work. In the end, I chopped the inner plastic piece that holds the glass right on one side. Though still very difficult, it is possible to get on. The glass has elegantly beveled edges. It's the perfect size for my tank. Moreover, I appreciate that the central brace is clear rather than brown.Additionally, the glass was placed by the firm inside a product box (not the Amazon one) in a cool long bubble wrap protective cover, preventing any chipping or breaking.
