4Pcs Aaron 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code (Resistors get very hot during working)

Informations:

Use the provided splice taps to join the wires (quick but maybe not solid). Alternately, you could sever the wires and connect them more firmly.

After installing LED light bulbs, a solution is needed for the turn signal's rapid blinking reaction.

Load resistors heat up like halogen lamps, so be careful. When working, they become quite warm. They can be screwed or secured with steel zip ties to metal surfaces. Aim to keep plastic components inches away from resistors.

Typically, one resistor connected in parallel is needed for each LED bulb installatio

Review:

It performed just as it should have. My 2008 Chevrolet Silverado with dual blinker lights on each side was simple to install. The flasher is now in hyper flash mode because I replaced all 4 of the flasher bulbs with LEDs. It was fixed with one resistor per bulb. They were easy to follow. Use pliers and fully insert the cutting blade into the wires when using the quick install clamps that are included. I tested and made sure the wiring was proper using the quick install before cutting, soldering, and sealing the wires for a long-term installation. I believe the quick install would be okay if you wrapped it tightly in electrical tape. The resistor will get heated if left touching any plastic.

So far, these resistors are working well. I physically split the wires, soldered them together, and then heat shrunk them together instead of using the included splice because that seemed like a much stronger bond to me.I use this to install new LED turn signals in the front of my truck; ever since I installed them in the LED lights, I haven't experienced hyper flash.

3. 4PCS ARTR 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code(Resistor gets very hot during working)

4PCS ARTR 50W 6ohm Load Resistors - Fix LED Bulb Fast Hyper Flash Turn Signal Blink Error Code(Resistor gets very hot during working)

Informations:

LED load resistors will not stop LED bulbs from flashing, which indicates that the LED bulb is broken.

It's simple to install. Simply use the included splice taps to connect the wires.

When in use, load resistors heat up like light bulbs and become quite hot. NOT on a plastic surface, but on a metal one.

After installing an SMD LED light bulb, a fix for the "bulb out signal" or "OBC error message" is needed. Fix for Fast Turn Signal Blinking After LED Light Bulb Installation.

I purchased these resistors in an effort to fix a hyperflash problem when attempting to switch my 2014 Ram's turn signals over to LEDs. They arrived on schedule and with respectable packaging (as always with Amazon). I checked them because I'm an electronics technician, and they did indeed display 5 ohms. I installed them correctly, but I was saddened to learn that my problem had not been fixed. Although I'm positive that these resistors are a crucial component of my particular truck's conversion to LEDs, I still need to look inside the vehicle for anything else that might be getting in the way. As of now, it seems to me that neither a connection flowchart, which may provide me with some hints about how it's built, nor the inner workings of the modules (schematics, etc.) are available everywhere I've searched. My truck does not have CANBUS, according to the local Ram dealer, but they also couldn't tell me where the flashers are, so I doubt the accuracy of their information. I will update this post if/when I discover the solutions. If anyone in "Amazonland" has figured this out, please share your solution with me.

4. SOCAL-LED 2pcs LED Load Resistors 25W 10ohm LED Bulbs Turn Signal Error/Blinker/Hyper Flashing

SOCAL-LED 2pcs LED Load Resistors 25W 10ohm LED Bulbs Turn Signal Error/Blinker/Hyper Flashing

Informations:

simple installation There is no need to cut the wires; simply splice them together using the included splice taps.

Following the installation of an LED light bulb, fix hyper flashing (rapid turn signal blinking).

One resistor must be connected in parallel to each LED bulb.

WARNING: When in use, load resistors become extremely hot and heat up like light bulbs. NOT on a plastic surface, but on a metal one.

"Bulb out signal" and "OBC error message" are fixed by using an LED load resistor after installing an LED light bulb.#

This was put into a Honda, two Fords, and a Buick. Only 25 watts are required. Use only 25 watts for LED signal bulbs when using them. An average incandescent bulb uses 27–28 watts as opposed to If you get brighter ones, an LED uses about 3 watts of power. The resistors become quite hot quite quickly, so I always mount them with #6 self tapping screws on the sub-frame. T taps already included, simple add-on.

a terrific deal for using LED bulbs to solve hyperflash issues. These were put in place together with 1157 front signal switchbacks. My tap connectors functioned correctly, unlike others. The outside line, which should have carried your bulb wire rather than your resistor wire, was a touch tight, but using a 3/16 or 1/4 flathead while pushing in your bulb wire made it fit nicely.Ensure that your heatsink is mounted on metal and away from other wires and plastics. The resistors reached 222 degrees Fahrenheit and were still rising after around 10 minutes of turn signal activity! Therefore, if you install these resistors and need to utilize your 4-way or emergency signals frequently, keep that in mind. see picture.Due to the resistors being connected just to the circuits for when the turning signals were on, running the front "parking light" or "corner light" function did not raise the temperature.

After converting to LED bulbs, my turn signal was flashing too quickly, so I got these to correct it. They did a terrific job. They were also employed to resolve a flickering problem caused by upgrading to LED headlights. They are a resistor of high caliber. The scotch locks must be thrown away as soon as possible after being purchased. NEVER, EVER USE SCOTCH LOCKS! Always solder connections and use heat shrink to protect them. Use heat shrink butt connectors at the very least if you are unable to do that. Additionally, these are made to be warm. Mount this resistor on a metal surface to prolong its life. Because of the mounting holes' small size, it could be challenging to locate the necessary hardware. It worked out well when I slightly enlarged the resistor's hole. Bottom line: Never ever use Scotch locks! They can only be used to fill a trash can.

Want to replace the stock lights in your car with LEDs? You'll probably need a resistor. My Toyota Tundra from 2006 did. I had a spare as I just needed one. The fog light version of this was also on my order, but I didn't end up using it because one H4 resistor fixed all of my issues. Without touching any plastic and far from the battery, I installed it on the rail that runs from the battery to the frame. In the event that you come too close, these CAN and WILL melt plastic. I just attached mine to the metal with zip ties, which further helps to dissipate the heat produced by the resistors. To install LEDs in my wife's car, I'll use the hb4/9006 version of these that I originally purchased but didn't end up requiring for my Tundra (Honda). The resistors function by converting extra energy into heat. The oil in your old halogen bulbs caused problems with the amount of heat created, making them so hot that even the slightest finger contact would drastically limit their lifespan. Although heated, LEDs are substantially cooler than previous lamps and consume less power. In older automobiles, the power must go somewhere or the computer may suspect a problem. You WILL get burned if you touch these resistors because they take the extra energy and turn it into heat. Additionally, be careful where you mount them; pick a location where nothing will melt.
