It is VERY user-friendly and responsive.But keep in mind that it has Active Low logic, which means that when power is first connected from the Arduino, the relay will turn on due to the low condition of the pins until the Arduino has time to set them to Active High, which will turn them off. Between an Arduino pin and the relay's 5 volt input, I used a 2N2222 transistor and a 1k Ohm resistor to address this issue. Now, when the Arduino turns on, the relay board does not get power until the program instructs it to.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT - GREAT PRODUCT!

The best relay I've ever used is this one. Get the wire harness that will completely seal the connection as a favor to yourself. When utilizing the wire harness, use caution. Check the size of the wiring that will connect to the relay from the device you are controlling. The factory-supplied wiring configuration may need to be altered. For example, the blue control wiring may need to be changed to a different pin. No major deal, just pull the wire out and snap it into the proper one. You might need to switch a few. You won't be sorry if you get this system!

Lack of documentation, generally good build quality, and affordable price earn 4 stars. Would repurchase. A good device for quickly turning on/off a basic load using a PIC micro-controller. It should be noted that a 5V signal will de-energize the relay, whereas a 0V or GND signal into any input on the relay board will energize or activate the relay. Relays are rated for 30VDC / 125-250VAC both at 10A, but I wouldn't put that much trust in anything with tiny screw terminals. On the board, there are some "VCC / GND" jumpers. This, in my opinion, is utilized to connect the circuit's optocoupler output stage to the stage that uses the optocoupler input voltage. If you wish to isolate the power supplies, you could presumably remove this jumper, however I didn't try it. Shorting out the board happens when you move the jumper over 1 place. If you're planning to create an enclosure or mount for the unit, please find some general measurements attached.
