Connect each panel to form a cube, then keep adding on to create other configurations.The cartoon animals and the blue background on the door that help my baby organize by using a monkey for socks and a panda for jeans are incredibly cute, and I really like them.The material is plastic, and each cube has a metal rack attached to the bottom. I'll start by saying that this does what I bought it for, so I'll keep that in mind, but there are some issues. It can be annoying if several doors open at once when you attempt to open one. Additionally, it can be annoying to close them. Before it ultimately closes completely, you have to make a few good attempts to do so. And it appears that the animal on the door has three copies, which my daughters found to be very disappointing. But each cube can carry a respectable amount of items, and thus far, it seems to be quite robust. I've chosen to fill the cubes with diapers, wipes, and clothes. Not to mention how adorable and simple it is to assemble. The customer service is also excellent and will go out of its way to make you happy. I took away one star because of the few aforementioned complaints. I'll give it four stars because, in my opinion, the good exceeds the bad in this case.

Don't return to Amazon even though the item was damaged when it was received, as with the majority of the complaints above. If you're unlucky, you'll merely get another damaged unit. My suggestion is to contact Sauder, the manufacturer. It's a given that they called me straight away, asked for the model and lot number (which were listed in the instructions along with their phone number), and offered to send me any part I needed for free. I'm sorry I yelled. They sent flawless parts that had no damage at all. I received the replacement components in only 3 days (they were the 2 large sides). I meticulously followed the instructions, and the result is a fantastic item that is sturdy enough to be both utilitarian and aesthetically beautiful while also being solid (as you would expect from this type of furniture). I'm no handyman, so trust me when I say it's only as good as the guy who constructs it. I just understand how to follow directions and am the fortunate owner of my own own screwdriver.

I've worked with stand-alone closets from a number of various companies in the past, and they always seem to be ready to collapse as soon as they are erected or the imitation wood seems so flimsy that it will warp quickly. The bottom of the drawer and the back of the closet, for example, are made of sturdy cardboard-like materials, but they are reinforced sufficiently to last for a long period.Some have taken issue with the poorly designated shelves on some of the units. Although I'd read that some people experienced a variety of problems with this wardrobe, mine had arrived in perfect shape. All necessary assembly components were included, the pieces were flawless, and the directions were good. Even a novice can put this together; perhaps my experience assembling similar items in the past provided me an advantage. They might simply take a little bit longer. Use a powerful screwdriver to speed up and simplify assembly. I would repurchase this if I ever needed another wardrobe. Worth the effort....
