Best Car Component Speakers in 2022
When it comes to car audio, one of the most important components you need to consider is the speakers. After all, they’re what will bring your music to life and create the perfect soundscape for your ride. However, with so many options available on the market, it can be hard to know which speakers are the best for your vehicle, so it’s important to do your research and look at all of your options before making your purchase.
First, you’ll want to determine your budget and decide how much you want to invest in the speakers. This will help narrow down your search considerably, as you’ll be able to focus on speakers within a certain price range. Then, you’ll want to figure out what type of sound you’re looking for. Do you want something with a lot of bass? Or something that has a more balanced sound? Knowing what sound you’re going for will help you find the right speakers for your car.
Next, you’ll want to consider the size of the speakers you’re looking at. Different cars will require different sizes of speakers, so make sure you check the size of the space you’re working with before making your purchase. Additionally, you’ll want to look at the power handling of the speaker, as this will determine how loud the speaker can get. Finally, you’ll want to think about any additional features you may need, such as waterproofing, compatibility with certain audio systems, or the ability to stream music wirelessly.
Once you’ve taken all of these factors into consideration, it’s time to start comparing your options. You can either shop online or in person, but either way, make sure to read reviews from customers who have purchased the speakers you’re considering. This will give you an idea of how well-made the speakers are and how they sound in different vehicles. Additionally, you may be able to find demo models of the speakers you’re interested in, which will allow you to test them out before making your purchase.
Choosing the right car component speakers can be a daunting task, but it’s important to take your time and do your research. Once you’ve found the perfect speakers for your vehicle, you’ll be able to enjoy the perfect soundscape and make the most of your car audio system.

These were put on a 2013 Mazda 3. Install two 6.5" coaxials and two 6.5" components in each of the back and front doors, along with new tweeters in the sail panel. These midrange speakers are pretty great and difficult to better for the price, barring the Infinity Kappa series, even though they definitely aren't the best money can buy. Significantly better than my stock speakers. I've included a photo of the crossover box's interior in case anyone is curious about its contents. used my stock wires since I didn't want to completely rewire my car. With the proper adaptor cables and 6x8" to 6.5" speaker adaptor mounts, everything fit perfectly. However, because the front speakers are deeper than the factory ones, I had to slightly bend the inside of my front door panel to make them to fit without obstructing the opening. The central tweeter on the coaxial speakers can be turned to point in any direction, which is convenient. Before installation, do yourself a favor and make sure you have all the wiring and connectors you'll need. Overall, excellent speakers. crisp and powerful sounds. In the near future, a 75X4 amp and DSP will be included.

I'm neither an expert installation, nor am I an audiophile. I wanted to add certain components and a subwoofer to my 2003 Nissan 350Z. Although I was quite concerned because this was my first installation, I did my homework, took my time, and went for it. Sincerely, installing and fine-tuning these was a breeze. In Arizona, I am powering them with a Pioneer PRS-D800 located beneath the driver's seat. Pioneer's AVH-X8500BHS is the HU I use. I don't have any back speakers or electricity from the head unit; I only have these and the sub. I find it difficult to imagine that you could purchase a better component system for the price. Since April 2017, I've been running my system pretty hard, and they sound fantastic. I only have these for highs and mids, so I can't comment on how they affect lows. These perform better than I anticipated with my Infinity Kappa 120.9w (driven by a Kenwood X500-1). My system gets louder than I would normally run it since I enjoy it so much. Someone who is more interested could certainly get even more out of the correct HU or equalizer, but I have been and remain fully delighted.

With them, the enclosures are more important than the speakers. If you're going to run more than 50w RMS, I'd recommend giving these a little time to break in since they can handle the most RMS watts out of this line. However, they do need to be amplified and can easily be pushed farther. The difference is incredible, so I built a partitioned box and am using these as a center channel in my Commander. Since I needed to fill the middle of the Jeep, which has almost an acre of space inside, I chose these since the cone is actually closer to the edge of the frame than any other speakers I could find, producing deeper mids that almost reach mid-bass. I gave these about two days to break in before running them hard with an amp pushing 75w x four @ four ohms. I was astonished by how deep these would bump when packed properly! It has significantly changed things—almost as much as when you first install a subwoofer. Even with wattage levels greater than recommended, they are crystal clear. They are probably running on 50w RMS, in reality. The simplest way to grenade a speaker or crossover is with too little power, so overwhelm a little and adjust the volume accordingly!

My Toyota 4Runner has a fantastic premium JBL sound system, but when I bought the car, one of the dash speakers was broken. These were the ideal replacement for the stock because I wanted something a little higher quality. Fitting these into the stock placement was a little challenging, but not impossible, provided the speaker was slightly altered. The magnet on these is nearly five times larger than the magnet on the OEM speakers, which is the only reason they don't fit perfectly. Excellent dash speaker upgrade for the 2010 Toyota 4Runner. These have excellent sound quality and would really shine with an additional amplifier.

To go with the GTO609C's, I purchased these for the back doors. About a month ago, I had the front parts installed, and every time I start my car, I like them even more. replaced with these the stock rears. Sound complements the fronts beautifully. These just make everything sound perfect. The tweeter's adjustable angle does a good job of raising the soundstage off the ground. An ocular pivot would have been preferable to a fixed angle. It's just my choice for tweeter mounts, and I apologize for being so petty about it. Excellent audio quality with strong mid bass. They are at x-over 12 dB@60 hz. The tweeter crossover is a genuine 12db passive crossover. On a little circuit board that is screwed to the speaker's rear is high-quality material. Another nice JBL device that is well manufactured. I returned for more because I was so pleased with the 609s. These are the ideal balancing act. fantastic value Do yourself a favor and connect these to a 75x4 amp. It won't blast the windows out, but it will be loud, punchy, clear, and plain as day. You won't be sorry if you buy them, you know you want to.
