UPDATE: The business contacted me shortly after I published my initial review. They claimed that no piece of plastic should have come off and that the product must have been flawed. The fact that a piece of plastic fell off the lid the second day I used it is the sole reason I only awarded it four instead of five stars. It's incredibly simple to use, and cleanup is quick if you wash the pieces immediately away. After I finish juicing, I place all the components in a dish filled with soapy water to prevent any particles from sticking. Everything comes right off once I have had time to wash. To make cleanup even simpler, I added a plastic bag to the pulp container. The only challenging component to clean is the blade, but a fantastic brush is provided in the box, which is quite helpful.
