It takes no time at all to destroy these. That is why I purchased a large bag of them. The large holes the cone-shaped soft tips create in my bristle board bother me. The holes that steel tip converters leave in my hard wood floors are another thing I don't enjoy. These protect my floor and board.

The 18-gram darts I purchased were good, but the adolescents rapidly bent and destroyed the tips. I chose to experiment with the shorter tips, and I'm pleased I did. They stick in the board almost as effectively as the long tips but are far more durable. The flight is excellent. Another benefit is that it's simple to screw the tips in firmly thanks to the hole in the tip. Although my box of 100 will definitely outlast the dartboard, I would still buy these again.

The primary reason I'm writing this review is in response to the one that already exists.While many of the current soft tip darts use the 2BA thread size, which is around 3/16 inch, these darts have a 1/4 inch thread size, which fits my 20-year-old soft tip darts.The tips are of high quality, but I didn't give them a 5-star review because I thought there should be more provided for the price.
