It's the ideal mat. It works perfectly under my dish rack where I use it. There are no leaks or drips coming from under the mat, and there isn't any mildew-like odor either. It has held up extremely nicely after being washed a few times in a commercial washer (about once every week). I merely dry it briefly on low heat. It continues to be quite absorbent and has maintained its shape.

We adore these mats and already have a number that we use to dry dishes. We have a sizable one as well, which we use as a bath mat.Our dog continually sloshes water out of his bowl, leaving a mess on the kitchen floor. This most recent purchase is utilized as a mat under his dish. For Christmas, I gave him a skid-resistant dish, but it was ineffective. Then, I placed this XL mat under his bowl to solve the issue, which I had ordered. Lays flat, is quite absorbent, prevents dogs from dragging it around the floor, and is also a lovely color (matches our kitchen, lol).

I eventually made the decision to buy a drying mat because my dish rack was taking up too much room in my kitchen, and I'm so glad I did! I purchased two and alternate between them so that one can completely air dry out while I use the other. I store them while not in use (just fold in half and put in a drawer or stand against a wall). The extra counter space is wonderful. I haven't experienced any odor issues in the little more than a month that I've been using them. They are soon dry and absorb effectively. I don't have to worry about my sensitive glasses shattering because they are well cushioned. They have held up nicely despite the fact that I wash and dry them roughly once per week. Just be careful to give your damp dishes some room to breathe. For instance, I balance bowls over serving spoons or the edge of the mat. I occasionally need to use a dish rag to dry some of the dishes, but a dish rack can also get that dirty.

If you've ever mixed drinks on a counter, you're aware of how fast the entire surface becomes a soggy, sticky mess. especially if you add simple syrup, whiskey, and lime juice. This mat is the same one that is used in bars. It is substantial, non-slip, and has a big capacity for trash. Additionally, it is simple to clean by simply rinsing it in the sink with really hot water and a small amount of dish soap.

I've had this dish mat for a few months, and I'm really happy with it. I don't wash a lot of dishes by hand, so when I do, I detest having to get the dishrack out and then store it once the dishes are dry. Dish cloths were one option I tried, but they weren't very effective. So I made the decision to test this mat. Even though it isn't very big, it can fit items like my stock pot and crock-pot that are too big for my dishwasher. I don't have to worry about breaking my more fragile objects, such wine glasses and fine china, because to the padded surface. This pad absorbs a lot of liquid. Unlike when using towels, there has been no wetness on my counters, and there is also no smell of mildew. Since the pad doesn't take up all of my counter space, I typically leave it out. It can fold up and fit into a drawer or cabinet when I don't want it on the counter.

If I had to select something, I'd say that these sink mat's holes are a bit too wide and that I'm concerned about their tiny rubber feet coming unfastened. Having said that, this sink mat is superb. If I hadn't created it myself, I couldn't imagine there being one that meets my needs more effectively. It features a solid quarter-inch standoff between the surface of the sink and its own, and it is stiff and sturdy. No need to worry about water clogging up the sink drainage like those "pebble" mats because there is plenty of room for liquids to drain. I'm glad we came on this choice after the wife purchased some other mats that just weren't up to par. anything it might imply.

I don't use my dishwasher because I just cook for myself, and I don't need a big dish drainer since I only use a few dishes. Yes, I'm lazy as well, therefore I don't want to hand-dry the aforementioned "couple of dishes." This mat is the ideal remedy. It doesn't need to be hung out to dry after use, unlike cotton mats; simply tip it into the sink and the extra water drains away. I'm ecstatic beyond words!

I'm awaiting the owner to bring me a replacement dishwasher because mine broke. This was displayed during the Black Friday Special. After reading about it, I was confident that it would be more effective than a regular kitchen towel. It retains the dishes in place while they quickly dry by air because it is quite big and highly absorbent. I'm very happy I found this product since I adore it. My daughter uses a conventional kitchen towel that absorbs water and takes time to dry her dishes, so I'm going to get her one because she has pots and dishes that cannot be washed in the dishwasher. It's quite valuable and would be useful under a dish rack to collect extra water.

Review:

Because it was barely 8 inches long, I almost didn't order it. took a gamble, and it was successful. Even a 12-inch frying pan can be kept from touching my sink thanks to this 8-inch protection. Only the middle of the frying pan touches the silicone divider; the corners of the pan do not even touch the stainless steel sink. I believe the silicone is just thick enough to prevent the top of the pan from contacting. The middle of my sink is about an inch broad. You can see from the picture how beautifully this divider fits. Additionally, it adheres to the sink's sides, which keeps it in place, which is great. I suppose that if necessary, I can wash this divider in the dishwasher. I'm happy I bought it.
