These were utilized by me during a 6-day scuba diving trip to Sipadan, Malaysia. I have a brand-new pair of black Mares Volo Power Scuba Diving Fins (Size Regular 9-11). In July 2018, the water's temperature ranged from 26.7°F to 84°F. I usually wear a US size 9, but after reading the reviews, I purchased a US size 8 and it fits well!Cons Light (316g for the pair).simple to put on and remove.My fins fit in precisely, with no gaps or squeaks.Simple to clean and dry (you can easily turn them inside out).Some, but just a few, came in as they were walking on the thin sand.The rubbery heels help to secure the straps.It is simple to drain the water from within; they do not need to be removed.Comfortable. No sores after 16 dives of about 50 minutes each.ConsThey don't dry as quickly as I would like, but the environment was humid, so I didn't have high hopes.They come in larger sizes.other challengesIf you plan on walking on rocks, the thin soles could be a problem.

I ADORE THIS FOOTWEAR!First of all, I walk a lot because I work as a gold miner, therefore I wanted some water boots that could protect my feet from the icy water while also standing up to jagged pebbles.I bought these boots after reading about how well they performed on volcanic rocks here. I reasoned that if they performed well there, they would also perform well in fresh water rivers where I would use them, and THEY HAVE!:)Compared to water shoes from Wal-Mart, Big 5, or any other retailer, these boots are miles above average.These boots have already seen a lot of use from me after many kilometres of walking. Any other water shoe would have expired by this point and I would be on my second pair.In the last five years, I've spent over $400 on cheap water shoes when I should have just got these.The Cressi Isla boots are unbeatable because they are tough by water boot standards, warm, comfy, and have a hard but yielding sole that will last a long time and provide enough support to be comfortable on gravel and sharp pebbles.The only drawback I can see with these boots is that they still cause you to slip on some wet rocks, but even felt-soled boots do the same thing, so it's not a big concern. Just be careful where you position your feet when walking on wet rocks or in shallow water.

What I like: 1) Durability: I've had mine for two years, and it's still in good shape. I use them all year, even in San Diego's summer, when I surf two to three times per week. Why in the summertime? sting rays, further discussion is below.2) Shoe size: I typically wear a size 9 or 9.5. The size 9 I purchased fits nicely.3. Sting ray: I trod on one last week. I'd been in a lot of pain and suffering before I found these booties. The top of the booty was directly poked by the spine. Although it did enter, the puncture wound in my ankle was not particularly deep (around 0.5 cm deep and 0.5 cm long). I was able to endure the discomfort and continue surfing for an additional two hours. after taking a few days off, I returned to the sea as if nothing had occurred.They do occasionally gather some water, but not enough to have a substantial impact on how well they perform. It normally works by elevating the feet for half a second above the surface.

I detest tight clothing that is made in China. My size 11.5" average male foot fits this. I used their chart and my measurement in inches. The first time, it can be a little challenging to pull on past the heel. However, it was well-fitting, wide enough but not overly so. It can be held up without the use of ankle cuffs. But I'm so grateful that the ankle is not very tight.

Since my feet are large and these are a little narrow, I prefer adequate length over with in order to prevent excessive movement. Although the plastic is a bit stiffer than I had imagined, my feet were toasty and there was no sliding when I used them for paddleboarding in 8°C water. The only drawback, which is really not a big deal, is that they fill up with water and start to feel strange moving around the boat. For wearing them in shallow water and walking around, the leather bottom is convenient as it prevents the occasional shell from stabbing your foot.
