I'd advise purchasing them a month or two AHEAD of the time you want to use them so they have time to release that annoying formeldehyde scent that is so typical of imported plastic products. Till they start to shed some of that smell, I literally can't keep them in the store. They are identical to every gland nut I've ever seen, save from that.It's the same as any of them in terms of "length of threads." The advertisement copy lists it. It is what they are advising you to anticipate. I rarely hear reviews that complain about the length of the threads. You should purchase one with a greater thread length if you like one. Don't purchase the item that is obviously going to be the incorrect size and then complain that it is.Regards, Lumpy

The two 16' LED lights that came with this package needed to be connected. WenTop® Led Strip Lights Kit Waterproof SMD 5050 300LEDS RGB, 30LEDS/M, 44KEY IR Controller, and Plug-in Power Supply, 32.8 Ft (10 M). Although I just required one of these connectors, I'll be purchasing additional LED lights and using a different connector. I would suggest they provide a bundle with fewer than 20 items. The connector was wonderful in every other respect. I covered the connection with electrical tape to keep rain from getting inside. My deck is lit by LEDs.

The rubber washer around the port is nice, but I wish it were a little bit larger. Not the insider, though. That has amazing grip. To be extra sure, I might get a larger rubber washer. Great quality all around, and many of them. Although the plastic case is thin and tiny, it's a "good to have," therefore it doesn't detract from the rating.

Review:

I looked for the greatest conduit carrier options, and these, in my opinion, were the best. These are the only ones that have a genuine "saddle" for the conduit to sit on that I could find. far less likely to crush the PVC pipe and much stronger. I did speak with the customer care team to order some extra parts, and they were prompt and helpful. The end castings appear to be of good quality. None of them have any holes or defects. I really wanted to rate this five stars, but two faults prevented me. The end casings are supplied face to face (aluminum to aluminum) and are frequently delivered with minor scratches. Since these are construction-grade products and appearance isn't crucial, it's not a big deal. The most concerning issue is how the hinge and latch are made; when the covers are fastened, they are not even close to being watertight. On the inside of the opening lid is a lovely rubber gasket, however due to the design, it never meets the mating surface. The gap increases with increasing PVC size. This is seen in my photos. (I bought one each in sizes 4", 6", and 8). I fixed the issue by installing several spring latches, which tightly lock the doors, making them watertight. With that change, these stand out as the best (IMHO).
