In order to get rid of my acne, my dermatologist prescribed some topical antibiotics and instructed me to pair them with a benzoyl peroxide cleanser. This one's fantastic. It has a small amount of the active component, but from what I've read, stronger isn't always better when it comes to benzoyl peroxide. My skin wasn't irritated or dried out by this cleanser. I had to use a different kind since I ran out one day, and it burned my face. My skin felt great once more once I switched back to this one.
