Best Fall Arrest Safety Harnesses in 2022

When it comes to safety in the workplace, it’s important to make sure that you have the best equipment and tools to protect yourself and your employees. One of the key pieces of safety equipment that you should be looking into is a fall arrest safety harness. A fall arrest safety harness is a specialized piece of equipment that is designed to help you prevent serious injury in the event of a fall. It works by providing protection against falls from heights and providing shock absorption in the event of a fall.

When it comes to choosing the right fall arrest safety harness, there are a few things to consider. First and foremost, you need to consider the type of work that you and your employees are doing. Different jobs require different levels of protection, and you want to make sure that you’re getting the right type of harness for the job. For example, if you’re working with ladders or other high places, you’ll want a harness that offers more protection for falls from greater heights.

You also want to make sure that you’re getting a harness that fits properly. This means getting the correct size and ensuring that it’s adjustable so that it can be adjusted to fit most employees. You also want to make sure that the harness is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time and that it’s easy to put on and take off.

Finally, you want to make sure that the harness you’re choosing is certified to meet safety standards. Look for harnesses that are approved by OSHA or other safety organizations. This will ensure that you’re getting a quality product that will protect your employees in the event of a fall.

Finding the right fall arrest safety harness can be a challenge, but it’s an important investment in the safety of your employees. Make sure that you take the time to do your research and find the best harness for the job.

As a do-it-yourselfer for home projects, I bought this. My roof, which is very steep and over three stories high at its peak, required some replacement. Wearing this equipment was simple and comfortable for me because I've worn this type of fall prevention gear frequently over the past 20 years. It felt secure and safe as I used it to move about the roof, despite the fact that I didn't test it by jumping off. It seems well-crafted and constructed of high-quality materials. Everything was how it should have been. I have no doubt that this object would function as intended if I were to fall. I have used products of this nature throughout the years, but I do not consider myself an expert. But I'm content. It works nicely for me.

There are numerous adjustment points on the harness, which is solidly constructed. The only "D-RING" for fall protection on the harness is located in the center of the back. Since I am a worker who has a "medium build" and weighs 180 pounds, I used up the most of the slack in the modifications to make the harness fit. For a correct fit, you should probably look for a different harness if you believe yourself to be of "short stature." It would have been wonderful to have a few side "D-RINGS" for "work posture

Review:

For the price, this harness appears to be well-made and durable. For the price, I had anticipated some lighter-weight straps and rings, thus it was a nice thing that the materials were heavier than I had anticipated. It was ideal for the two-story chimney construction I needed it for. Although I'm not a huge person, it fit my body well, and the straps have room for people of all sizes. For being 35 feet up on a roof and having that safety backup, this is definitely worth the price.

Although I work with clients in the construction industry, I live in the tech industry. To test out a VR training simulator I'm developing at home, I bought this gear. The engineering caught my attention first. The user experience has undoubtedly been given top attention throughout the testing process for this item. Additionally, it is quite comfy and adaptable. The "Pit of Death" (ammo supply access channel) on the USS Iowa Battleship provided the perfect opportunity for me to test this harness last week. Harness performed admirably, and we were able to finish the task on schedule and as planned. Thanks!

I am safely painting the cornice on my historic Baltimore rowhouse with the aid of this harness (see image). My roof deck beam has straps that are attached to the harness and lanyard. I got it so I could put it on a JLG lift I hired for a week to do roofing and soffits. The leg "belt" attachment is useful for quick changes and accommodating people of various sizes. Furthermore, I purchased a 6-foot strap with clasps to fasten to the lift. With timely shipment, the price was reasonable. Thanks!

Review:

Sizes range from 32" to 46" according to the description as of this writing. When in use, though, it's more like it only extends to 42". That is probably the case because the belt section covers the substantial pad, which is then covered by your jeans. I had to use the last grommet while wearing a pair of size 40 pants without a belt. It might expand to 42" after break-in, but I don't think this hefty belt will budge much. It's an excellent belt. I only wish there was more area for me to expand. It stated it would go to 46, so I bought it.
