Since they updated it, it is far less clumsy, and I believe it will survive longer than the previous model, which is fantastic. I awarded it four stars for three reasons.1. To switch from Brita filtered water to standard faucet water, turn the knob. I worry that if I twist the twist knob too hard, it will break or the entire attachment will fall because it is much tougher to use.2. For using regular faucet water, this new design is significantly smaller yet more louder. The house is practically wakeable.3. The filter no longer releases filter water in a stream-lined manner. Instead, it sprays, so most of the filtered water will spill outside the bottle and onto the sink if you're filling a bottle with a smaller aperture. Not to add that filling a bottle takes significantly longer.
