Best Fireplace & Stove Fuels in 2022

When it comes to heating your home, fireplace and stove fuels are an important component of the equation. With a variety of fuels available, it’s important to know which one is best for your particular situation.

The first thing to consider when looking for the best fireplace and stove fuels is the type of fuel you want to use. Depending on how much heat you need and how often you plan on using your fireplace or stove, you’ll want to choose the best fuel for your needs.

Wood burning fuels such as logs and pellets are popular because they are renewable and are typically easy to find. They provide a cozy atmosphere, but can also create a lot of smoke and require regular maintenance.

Gas fuels such as natural gas and propane are becoming increasingly popular as they are easy to use and provide a clean burning flame. They are also more efficient than wood burning fuels, making them a great choice if you’re looking to save money on your heating bill.

Electric fuels are becoming more popular as they are easy to use and require little maintenance. However, they are not as efficient as gas or wood burning fuels and could cost more in the long run.

Finally, liquid fuel such as kerosene or ethanol is another option. Liquid fuels are safer than wood burning fuels, and they can provide a consistent heat source. However, they can be more expensive and require more maintenance than gas or electric fuels.

No matter which type of fuel you choose, it’s important to do your research and make sure you are choosing the best option for your needs. With the right fuel, you’ll be able to enjoy a warm and cozy atmosphere in the comfort of your own home.

For our Origo 3000 2-burner stovetop, we bought this gasoline. Each container was filled with one full bottle. burning intensely. So far, a week has passed with us heating water or cooking 2-4 times per day. When lighting and cooking, there is a slight alcohol odor. our pots and pans are left with some black residue, but nothing a magic eraser can't take care of. Apparently, putting 5–10% water to the canister could also help with that issue. We prefer the fuel, especially knowing that even among members of the denatured alcohol family, it is one of the greenest.

This item is AMAZING! Without it, I could actually not use my tabletop fireplace. We share the costs with a friend who also has a TTF and purchase in bulk. Yes, we are the wonderful friends who gave them a TTF for Christmas two years ago.Splash-free pouring and this brand's internal seal, which you grab and pull to open a fresh one — the one behind the child-proof lid — is much easier to remove — top-notch quality stuff right here. Why look elsewhere for the fuel required for your TTF?

If you have a ventless fireplace, they are the real deal. Every other kind of gel fire can, in my opinion, aspires to be Real Flame. People are often surprised at how much it like a real fire place when I use these because of the crackle, the light, and the heat. Even though they aren't the cheapest, in my opinion they are still the best.I've experimented with several of the less expensive choices, even attempting to make my own gelled alcohol to repurpose in a can. I keep going back to the genuine article because it is unbeatable!

I recently purchased this and was quite pleased. The flames in my fireplace appear like a real fire since they are so realistic and even crackle as indicated. They did continue longer than the three hours as stated.I wanted to check the products when I first got them to see how well they actually were. I chose to light three candles because it was the most number that my fireplace could handle. Since I wanted to track how long they actually burned, I had to physically break the windows and back door. Before the first blizzard this winter, which is expected, I wanted to check out the heat where I live in Minnesota. I only use one can to heat the smaller space for ambiance rather than the full upper and lower living areas. The only drawback is that there is a very slight odor that you can detect but wouldn't be noticeable with candles. In the future, I'll purchase more of these.

It actually works. It lasts a very long period. I only use it when I need to make sure the smoke goes up the chimney before adding wood to a cold woodstove. I sprinkle some on a chunk of smokeless fire starter and watch for smoke to come out of the outside pipe. Before adding the wood, the fire burns continuously for a time to warm the entire pipe. purchased it more than once.

Review:

Because of the excellent ratings, I chose the Real Flame gel cans when I originally purchased my gel fuel fireplace. The stink from the Real Flame gel fuel was so offensive that I almost decided to get rid of the fireplace because I was so unhappy. I opted to try the SunJel gel fuel because every review indicated there was no odor before I made such a severe decision (given I had been wanting one for years). I've stopped using other gel fuels. Even while it doesn't burn as long as Real Flame gel fuel, it has almost no odor, which is probably the most you can hope for with this kind of product. When I first light the cans, I can barely detect any alcohol odor; otherwise, there is none. Additionally, they appear to produce a tiny bit more heat than the other gel fuel, though I cannot be certain of this. Anyone who is sincere about wanting to enjoy their gel fuel fireplace should get this device, in my opinion.
