I've used bag balm for years because I grew up in a rural area, but as an RN, I can't even begin to count the number of times I've suggested it to patients with difficult skin diseases. It's far superior to pharmaceutical medicines as one of the finest treatments for external fungal infections. Even the worst case of athlete's foot can be cured with regular use after a bath in a matter of months (make sure you get it around and under your toenails). I unintentionally learned that it also treats plantar warts when I was using it as a post-pedi-from-hell. Mine had been growing worse for around fifteen years, but it vanished entirely. I had so much dead skin on my feet that it felt like sandpaper, especially on my heels. No lotion was helpful. The dead skin on my feet was mostly removed when I used foot peels, but they take so long to work. I therefore purchased this cream and began using it on Sunday. After showering, I applied it and wore socks for a while. Shower, socks on Monday. Tuesday through Thursday, I was away and did nothing. On Friday, I utilized the cream and socks after briefly soaking my feet. Saturday, same as today. I recently realized that all but one spot of each heel's callus and dead skin have vanished from my feet. Although it took one week rather than two or three, they still appear as excellent as after a peel. This is incredible stuff. Seriously. My feet have been constantly cracked for the past 10 years, possibly longer. I've honestly tried everything, including pedicures, Ped-egg, Gold Bond foot cream, lotion at night while wearing socks, pumice stones, and that stupid at-home mouthwash/shaving cream "remedy." When I read this, I was about to get a foot chemical peel but decided to give it a try instead of spending $25 and suffering from peeling feet for two weeks. I'm 32 years old, and I was mortified by my feet.I was still a little dubious after the first week of overnight use (without socks) because there had been only a modest improvement.We're getting there, I thought the second week.Thank God, I said after the third one. Quite impressed! Nothing (not even pedicures) truly seems to ease the terrible cracking on the bottom of my heels. My feet not only look better after using this cream for about three weeks, but they also feel better. As a nanny, I am always on the move. This item was initially purchased for my mum. Her poor feet were becoming so dry and severely damaged while she was through chemotherapy. After applying a strong quantity of this to her feet for 24 hours, the cracks started to close. You could see into the fleshy area of her heels via the fissures, which were quite deep. The speed at which it operated astounded me. When using this item, I advise placing it on firmly, putting your foot in a plastic bag, and then covering that with a sock so it stays in contact for a longer period of time. Based on one day of use, this review. Following a month of use, I'll check in. I've struggled with sweaty hands and feet my entire life. My hands and feet will suddenly begin to perspire, and when I perspire, my feet become cold. It had gotten so bad that I would need to wear two pairs of socks simply to keep my feet warm. I put some lotion on my feet as soon as it arrived. My feet did eventually start to perspire, but not as much as usual. I applied more on my feet a couple of hours later, just before going to bed. I normally wear socks to bed because my feet tend to perspire and get cold. To see if the lotion was effective, I chose to leave them off. To my amazement, I didn't need to wear socks because my feet didn't perspire the entire night (I got up twice). My feet began to perspire while I was simply laying down in the morning, which was a sign that the lotion had worn off, but I was still relieved because it had done its job all night. I rated it four stars even though it didn't totally stop my feet from sweating, because I'd much rather have this than just just sweaty feet. Additionally, the cost for this sum is absurd. They expect me to believe that if I take this twice or three times per day, it will last a month for $14 for less than an ounce and a half (1.3oz). Hopefully, as company expands, they will be able to increase the quantity sold for the price.
