Best Garlic Keepers in 2022

When it comes to fresh garlic, you want to make sure that it is stored properly so that it retains its flavor and freshness. That’s why a garlic keeper is an essential kitchen tool for every home. A garlic keeper is a container specially designed to store garlic, so that it stays fresh and flavorful for longer periods of time.

So, how do you find the best garlic keeper? Here are a few tips to help you out.

1. Choose the right material. Garlic keepers come in a variety of materials, including ceramic, plastic, and wood. Ceramic is the most durable and best choice for garlic storage, as it will keep the garlic dry and away from moisture. Plastic is usually the most affordable option, but it won’t last as long as ceramic. If you’re looking for something that looks nice and is still durable, wood is a great option.

2. Look for air circulation. Garlic needs air to stay fresh, so make sure the garlic keeper you choose has holes for ventilation. This will help keep the garlic dry and prevent mold from growing.

3. Consider size. Garlic keepers come in different sizes, so make sure you choose the one that’s best for your needs. If you don’t have a lot of space in your kitchen, look for a smaller option. On the other hand, if you have a lot of garlic, you may want to opt for a larger keeper.

4. Look for ease of use. Make sure the garlic keeper you choose is easy to use and clean. It should have a lid that is easy to open and close and a lid that seals well.

5. Check the price. Garlic keepers come in a variety of price points, so make sure you choose one that fits your budget.

By keeping these tips in mind, you’ll be sure to find the best garlic keeper for your needs.

The air inside the jar is kept dry by tiny vents around the base; dishwasher-safe

Enamel finish that is non-porous and resistant to smells, stains, chipping, and breaking

roughly 5.0 in., 4.0 in., and 4.0 in.#

Review:

I only deduct one star because I wish it were available in all of Le Creuset's color options rather than just the dune (the rest of my Le Creuset is Oyster).Overall, this prevents garlic from sprouting much better than putting it in a bowl, basket, or any other container you would use. Additionally, it keeps all of the garlic skins inside and is simple to pour out. I've started buying garlic from the farmer's market instead of the grocery store because I've lately discovered that the latter is already on the point of sprouting. However, it keeps for a long time in this container. I think the size is perfect since it allows you to store several heads of garlic—up to four, depending on size—without taking up much counter space.

I hate to confess it, but Mud Pie products are so lovely and good quality that I can't stop buying them! It looks great with any decor, fits a lot of fresh garlic, and is like having a work of art on your counter. It hasn't been there long enough for me to know how the garlic is doing on the inside, but so far, so good!

Review:

I enjoy this jar. Without leaving a trail of crunchy crud on the counter, it keeps our garlic accessible. It lacks a seal, but since it already has holes and is meant to be breathable, it doesn't really matter. It accomplishes the job and is uncomplicated and tidy.

When I found that storing garlic in the refrigerator was making it go bad faster, I bought this garlic keeper. I later discovered that keeping garlic in the refrigerator is not advised, so I searched on Amazon for a garlic keeper and discovered this one that was reasonably priced. The garlic has been holding up for months at this point. For those who enjoy garlic, I wholeheartedly suggest this product.

Review:

Today was the first time I used it, and it was very effective. I used it to cook two garlic bulbs of average size at once, and they fit perfectly. The requirement to soak the lid in water for 10 minutes prior to beginning was one item I didn't see very properly described in the description or reviews. Although they could have cooked a bit longer—I baked them at 325 for 1:10 minutes—everything still looked lovely and nothing burned.

GARLIC SHAPED - The shape of the garlic reveals the contents.#

Review:

This garlic keeper is really adorable. It will undoubtedly complement any decor. However, bear in mind that it can only fit one medium-sized garlic bulb, so you might need to clip the bulb's top stem to make it fit. Get a larger garlic keeper if you use a lot of garlic on a daily basis. However, if you're anything like me and simply need a few cloves of garlic sometimes, this is ideal. Just keep in mind that the largest garlic bulbs in the grocery bins won't likely fit. You'll be okay if you shop wisely.

Review:

Before it was thrown onto the tile floor, I owned one like this for almost ten years. According to some reviews, I was a little concerned that this would be quite small, but it is exactly the same size as my last one. This is probably not the best option for someone who wants to store several giant bulbs. Depending on the size and form, we often store one to three bulbs in this jar. We may only put one in at a time if they are larger (but not enormous), leaving the other in our basket of onions. This has never been used by us to roast garlic. Therefore, I am unable to remark on or offer input on using the oven. I merely utilize it to keep opened garlic bulbs and adore having it.
