This was forceful and effective, boy. As recommended, I used it while using eye protection. But it has no significant issues. Each staple penetrated the cardboard post deeply, and none became trapped. I don't know what happened to my old stapler because I haven't used one in at least 20 years. This is a lifetime investment that is useful for stowing thicker objects, sealing bags, and other uses. DO obtain this if you are in that condition. It doesn't jam and is easy to use. I previously owned another brand, but it could only hold 20 staples; this one can hold an entire row. With the P22 staples coming in two sizes, I did not order it. I was a little disappointed to discover that neither Lowe's nor Home Depot had this essential. Simply, other sizes won't fit. Only use that brand of staple, it states on the side, and it really means it. However, I got many boxes in both sizes of staples after seeing how inexpensive they were on Amazon.com. I appreciate the grip because it is easy to punch even with arthritis because to the good full handle. This is still available in the supermarket shop where I used to use it as a child.
