1. STETION Quick Release Latch License Plate Lock Clip 1.25" Diameter Aluminum Alloy Car Hood Pins Lock Clip Kit for Bumper Hood License Plate (2 Pack - Black)
Review:
I mostly purchased this so I wouldn't have to drill into my fender. With this, all I could do was attach the pins and drill holes in my bumper. With the help of the given Hardware, I was able to unscrew a bolt, install the pin, and tighten it. It was fairly easy and felt secure. My bumper can now be quickly released without me having to worry about a band snapping.

installed flawlessly on my 2016 Jeep Sahara. No shimming, leveling, or modifications are necessary. Always keep a heavy-duty riveter on available that is capable of handling 1/4 stainless steel rivets. (Okay, I'm not endorsing Astro, but I bought their 13" riveter and it worked.)I also have a BOLT tire lock for my spare. Instead of carrying additional keys or running the risk of losing them, I believe it's amazing and really convenient to be able to utilize my ignition key. Well done, Bolt!Updated on March 30, 2017: The product is still performing as expected. You won't be dissatisfied. My autobody shop recently restored my hood and grill with restyled replacements, and the mechanic was pleased to have just one key to operate the spare tire, hood lock, and Jeep.

The hood latches arrived in a very attractive container, and they even came with a neat small machined aluminum Jeep grill (see in picture of packaging.)These seem to be constructed of cast aluminum, with stainless steel hardware and a plastic spacer to protect the paint where the bolts are located. They appear to be very robust. With tiny photos and ambiguous language, the installation instructions are definitely missing. However, it doesn't require a lot of mechanical knowledge to figure it out.The kit includes three allen wrenches, but you'll also need 10mm and 13mm sockets, the sizes of which are not specified in the instructions. Since the kit lacks washers and the OEM nuts have washers already built in, I would advise using them. Additionally, it can be difficult to work with the nylock nuts that are included in the package, especially the one inside the fender. The fit is close to becoming TOO snug. Due to slotted bolt holes, the piece's base that attaches to the hood can be slightly adjusted. Even with the adjustment all the way down, it is still so tight that the hood and fender practically come into contact with metal. This might ultimately result in corrosion. If it had a little more adjustment and better installation instructions, I would have given it a five-star rating. However, overall, these items feel quite durable and are fitted tightly. With them in place, hood flutter will never occur. I believe they are a decent overall deal and would suggest them to those wishing to replace the factory latches.

Review:
The two screws used to secure it are good. Some feature a single screw. I wish it was Phillips instead of Allen wrench style. I accidentally misplaced an Allen wrench twice during the process, retrieved it just once, and then dug out my Allen wrenches. I appreciate that it is composed of metal rather than bonded plastic like the original. Fair enough, Original broke at 28 degrees below zero after 19 years. I had also never lubricated a lock. After this install, I lubricated the cable and latch. I built it after watching a YouTube video outside at 8 degrees with the car heater on. Images depict the procedure. Although I never really felt the Allen screws tighten, it still functions perfectly. I'll investigate further when the temperature is warmer. decent stuff; it performs well

Review:
Even while creating a race vehicle, I want it to look excellent and presentable, thus after considering them for a while, I decided to try these hood pins. They appear quite good and virtually OEM when they are flush. With the exception of a template, which was not particularly difficult to make, they come with everything you need. I believe that might be included in other choices, but I'm not sure. However, the box does include a measurement guide. Although there are some holes to be cut during the installation, this may deter some people. These, I must say, are incredibly safe and perfectly hold the hood in place. I had no problems following a race.

I love these hood pins for my DIY truck. I disassembled the truck and began from scratch to rebuild it. Since the truck was built without airbags in 1994, I didn't see the need to replace the dash after removing it. It not only reduced a great deal of weight, but it also done away with the need for a lever to raise the hood. These lovely things are useful in the situation. They not only look wonderful, but they also perform admirably. They give my truck a lovely touch of elegance. It doesn't take very long to install anything! There is no better item available for the price.

Worked as advertised - there was discussion of finish peeling or rusting in many hood pin reviews. There have been around six weeks since they were installed, and the finish appears to be in good condition. fully content. Fasteners for the scratch prevention discs were not purchased in my memory. For the hood, I used 1/8" pop rivets with the right grip range.
