This paint is AMAZING. I've tried Rustoleum Chalk paint, which didn't cover properly, and Annie Sloan, which didn't spread at all even with water added. How annoying! Additionally, each of these paints call for several paint coats and an additional wax layer. Extremely pricey and not what I had anticipated.I was then introduced to Heirloom Traditions all-in-one paint by a friend. It applies like silk, provides excellent coverage, and doesn't need a wax layer to be sealed. The self-leveling material dries to a satiny sheen but allows for brush strokes. I love this paint! With all the other kitchen improvements I made, I couldn't imagine spending $2500 on a new stainless steel fridge. So I reasoned that it would be excellent if I could survive on my greatest appliance for a time. I had previously purchased a little kit for my dishwasher, but I ultimately decided to get a new dishwasher. Because I didn't think the tiny kit could cover the full fridge, I chose to paint the sides of my refrigerator a black satin and then use this product for the door and freezer door. It performed flawlessly. The product's stainless steel dust gives it the appearance of having a stainless texture, is robust, and still allows magnets to attach to it. Definitely five stars for this.

I've used this paint, and I'm in love. To use this product successfully, there is no preparation, no waxing, and no sanding necessary. Since there is hardly any smell, I just laid down drop cloths and began painting directly where the furniture was. I used a damp paper towel to wipe down everything to remove any dust before I began painting. The paint covers a large area and dries quickly. For a long buffet, six chairs, a huge table, and a little desk, I needed roughly 1 1/2 containers. Although it applies easily, I found that I needed to apply at least three coats. I didn't want the color of the underside to show. The wide chalk paint brush, especially in cracks and crevices, works best overall in my experience. Usually, the furniture was ready for a second coat by the time I had finished painting the entire item. I used a sponge to apply Rust-Oleum Metallic Accents in the colors Champagne and Gold over Manor House's cream tint, which was actually more white than cream because I wanted the golden silver look. I first painted my buffet table, but I liked the way it turned out so I also painted the full dining room set, including the table, chairs, and desk. For added protection, I applied a few coats of clear finish to the dining room table's top. To give the buffet a somewhat more aged and textured appearance, I did use a black glaze and wash it off.Although I have no idea how long the paint will last, it was simple to use, simple to clean up, and it looks fantastic.

I used the repair sets for markers and/or crayons to make my wood repairs before acquiring this package. Those aren't the best for any deeper repairs because they only actually fix surface damage. The crayons were okay for medium scratches and the markers worked excellent for little, thin scratches, but they weren't very helpful for larger scratches or dings.Despite not really knowing what this package was, I tried it out because of the positive reviews. If you're unsure, it consists of a set of numerous paint bottles and a tube of wood putty. a paintbrush, a spatula, a mixing bowl, and instructions for matching colors in a color matching handbook. The paints are for smaller repairs and are used to cover the wood putty when necessary. The wood putty is for large, deep repairs.On a small scale, the putty can be a little thick and challenging to work with, but with practice, it works flawlessly. However, the paints were fantastic. They are thick enough for reasonably substantial dents, dings, and scratches. Much superior than the crayons I purchased for the other wood repair kit. Each tube contains enough paint to complete numerous repairs. The paints have me incredibly pleased.
