Best Hunting Game Feeders in 2022

Are you an avid hunter? If so, you know that success in the field often depends on your ability to attract game. Having a game feeder in your hunting area is a great way to do just that. But with so many different types of game feeders on the market, how do you know which one is the best?

For starters, it’s important to keep in mind the type of game you’re hoping to attract. Different types of feeders are designed to feed different types of game. For example, if you’re looking to attract deer, you’ll want to purchase a deer feeder. The same is true for other types of game, such as turkey, quail, and dove.

Once you’ve identified the type of game feeder you need, you’ll want to consider the features you’re looking for. Features such as adjustable feed times, feed rate, and feed volume can make a big difference in how successful your game feeding will be. Additionally, some feeders come with built-in technology that allows for remote control and monitoring. This can be especially useful if you can’t physically check on your feeder as often as you’d like.

Finally, you’ll want to consider the cost of the game feeder. While you don’t have to break the bank to get a quality feeder, it’s important to remember that you’ll get what you pay for. If you’re investing in a game feeder, you’ll want to make sure it’s durable and reliable.

By taking the time to research the different types of game feeders available, as well as the features and cost, you’ll be better equipped to find the best game feeder for your needs. With the right feeder, you’ll be sure to have a successful hunting season.

While loading a feeder with food, I fell off a ladder. Before going to the hospital, you can do that a few times. The remedy is this item. This year, I've bought three. easily supports the weight of the feeder and 200 pounds of feed. It was simple for me to assemble. I prefer a tree with a hook where the chain can attach. I believe it would be challenging to make this work on a telephone pole, but it might. I needed additional chain for one of my feeders since I wanted to utilize a bigger tree. It is simple to lower and raise the feeder. I would advise the firm to shorten the handle. When cranking it, you have to be careful not to scrape your knuckles on the tree. In comparison to the competitors, the price seemed reasonable.

For many years, I have loved Moultrie items, and this one is no different. Both loading the hopper and setting up the timer are simple processes. My local deer will lick the motor/battery housing and spin it till the cover breaks off because of the low level of the motor unit, which is the only problem I've discovered. They are turning the spinner in an effort to cause more maize to spill out, and so far they have had moderate success. To prevent them from spinning the motor/battery housing, I just need to remember to tighten the nut on it sufficiently.

This is available at a handful of my remote stands. They do have a slight fragrance, but I just kept them outside before putting them in the field for a few days. PVC funnel bag that is incredibly thick and has a strap. If they last the entire season, they will be worth the cost. Because battery-operated devices draw attention to your stand, I don't want them. Next season, I'll make more purchases. Now, how can I quickly remove the corn from the bag?

For what it is, this deer feeder works well. With the two u-bolts that come with it, it can be mounted to a t-post. To keep the water from draining out of the opening, you might need to drill a few seep holes in the bottom. The feeder also has two straps so that, if needed, it may be fastened to a tree. Remember to add a piece of PVC tubing over the t-post if you are installing to one so that the coons have something challenging to climb up. Would purchase again if necessary.

Great results! The corn-stealing coons are not satisfied at all with this item. Yeah! Despite not fitting perfectly because of the feeder's rounded bottom, I attached it to a plastic Moultrie 30 gallon feeder, and it still functions flawlessly. Coons-be-gone! I simply positioned the tabs on each side to contact the feeder base, used the supplied screws to attach, and presto! I bought a second one for a different feeder.

The feeder is extremely robust. The 30 gallon hanging barrel is mine. All I want is for the spreader to function. It is very annoying to hang it in the woods and have it not spin. There was no reply to my two emails to tech support. There is a one-hour wait if you call. But hanging there, it looks great! It's the bomb, according to the deer!Update: On the advice of a friend who experienced a similar setback, I tried a different battery. Now it performs admirably! Despite the fact that Tech Support never called or emailed.

Nice item; I painted it and replaced the locknuts and bolts with stainless steel ones. The cost was much less than Moultrie. When I first bought a Moultrie, it came without any assembly hardware. This WGI feeder was simple to put together and appears to be doing well.

Review:

I've used Moultrie feeders for a long time. Although I've tried various brands, I always come back to Moultrie. They are far more enduring and last longer than other brands in my experience. I presently own three of this model, including this one and two ones from the prior year. The two oldest children have endured numerous bear assaults. Since it was destroyed, I had to replace the bucket on one, but the feeder's electronics are still in perfect working order. This specific model has a new connection system that, according to the manufacturer, makes switching between buckets and barrels a little simpler. Although I doubt I'd ever use it for that, changing the battery should be simple enough. Instead of dealing with the entire bucket, you can simply unscrew it, perform your necessary actions, and then screwscrew it back on.I often have it set to toss twice per day, and the battery life is excellent. I often get more than a year's worth of use out of high-quality batteries, and in the past I've received almost two years. It is trustworthy and versatile because you can program it to throw up to six times per day at a variety of times.
