Excellent lights for the money. I purchased several sets in various lengths to install on our deck, and I mounted them with a stapler. I am extremely happy with how simple it was to mount them neatly and with the light's quality; it has exactly the right amount of warmth. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a set of spare bulbs, which was a good idea because some of them were damaged when they arrived. One bulb burned out after a year, one socket vanished (more on that later), and a couple bulbs were damaged by people bumping into them.One of the sockets just vanished after the first year. It turns out that the sockets are hooked into a backing that surrounds the cord rather than being molded. To draw power from the power cord, the socket features two prongs that penetrate it. I ordered a donor set to utilize as parts because I was never able to discover the missing socks. The back comes loose after two clips on the inside of the socket are released. To take it out, you'll need a little flat-bladed screwdriver, which you can take out one at a time. The donor socket was able to be reinserted into the original set after being recently liberated, and it is now operational. Much preferable to having a light go out and replacing the entire set. I advise anyone who has a defective socket to either remove it and examine the connections that should pierce the power cord or press it firmly into the backing (against a hard surface).Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with how well they function, the quality of light they provide, and the fact that they are truly repairable.
