For my patio furniture, I bought some industrial-strength Velcro strips. It may seem strange to utilize it for that, but let me explain why. Every time a slight breeze passes by, the cushions on my patio furniture fall off the accompanying chairs. If you've had a platform bed for a while, as we have, you'll be aware that the rubberized holding that keeps the slats in place and correctly spaced out wears out and breaks, and that it is impossible to locate a replacement holder for these slats. As a result, the mattress dips in and the slats easily slip out of position. After that, you have to remove the mattress and fix the slats, which is a nightmare!For holding the wooden platform slats on a platform bed in place, this is the BEST PRODUCT to use. We weren't certain it would work, but we believed it may, so we decided against trying all the other workarounds people were recommending online. As you put the two pieces in place (one side of the Velcro on the bed frame underneath the slat and the other side on the back of the slat), it takes a little while to cut all the little pieces you need for the 3" slats and pull the tape off the back of these. However, we did this for our King bed and it took us about 1.5 hours to complete. THE GOOD NEWS is that this method worked flawlessly and has held our slats firmly in place for more than three months without sliding. We're getting way too old to try to take a mattress off to adjust slats, which is GREAT. I appreciate Velcro!

I'm happy to report that this tape is operating well. Before putting it to the dog test, I did allow it to cure for 24 hours. It has remained motionless in the face of the wind and the pacing dogs. The only thing I have to say is that you receive very little for the money. To be sure I had a workable solution, I did use two packs.
