Love the lace for Halloween! Because of how adaptable it is, it may be used throughout the house. I had originally intended to wrap it around my lamp, but my chandelier was the ideal place for it! The spiders on the lace's webs and the bat edges are such lovely details. You can hang it using the included ribbon, put it out flat over a mantel or table, or I can string it for you. I really like how it looks with my Halloween decorations.

The box was damaged when I received it, and I was afraid the shades would be bent, but they were packed extremely neatly on the inside. Repair kit for pleated shades#

The fact that it comes with all the parts required to fix a pleated shade and worked effectively for restringing the pleated shade. Clearer step-by-step instructions could have been helpful. However, the buyer may have benefited more from how the accompanying strings were presented or packed. There are five 20-foot strings in the kit. The strings on a large four string shade end up being around 12' or 13' long. Therefore, it takes 4 of the 5 packets of string to restring such a shade, resulting in the waste of 4 pieces of string each 8 feet long and around 32 feet of string overall. I believe that if you were given a 100' spool of cord, you could simply cut the length of cord required and still have enough cord left over to string another blind, saving the kit manufacturer from having to make 4 of the 5 cuts they currently make and skipping the hassle of winding 5 separate 20' pieces. Naturally, I am aware that the makers would sell fewer kits as a result, so doing so would not be in their best interests. But I'm not speaking as a seller; I'm speaking as a customer. But from now on, if I need to fix a blind, I'll merely buy a spool of blind cord.

This is a pretty decent product, in my opinion. However, if you have a larger 1/2 circle window and strictly adhere to the instructions, you might be let down. The fan's top tilted away from the window when it was installed and measured 28 1/4 inches from top to bottom. When I viewed it from the outside, I observed a gap. Even though it appeared to be in good shape from inside the house, I now believe that it would have worried me. By folding the paper instructions several times and adding them to the plastic 1/2 circle that serves as the centre, I was able to fix this issue. The centre of the fan was consequently given a little more height, and as a result, the top of the shade now meets the top of the window arc. It stops sagging forward and stays in place thanks to friction.Therefore, if your 1/2 window is larger, I recommend measuring twice with the plastic in place. The hump in the middle of the plastic piece is only 1/2 inches high, despite the measuring ruler on this shade adding 1 inch. Take that into consideration when performing your measurement. This is probably not a problem for smaller 1/2 circle windows.I did the following things to make this work for me:1. I used spray paint to paint the plastic piece white. This appears a little better, especially if you have to horizontally stretch the fan to extend it a little further. The painted component conceals the center of shade's irregularity (perhaps because the window isn't a true 1/2 circular).2. I wanted the flexibility to be able to open this cover for specific occasions because it definitely blocks out a good quantity of light. Therefore, I just attached one side of the shade to the window sill's base. I then spread it out and added two magnets to the opposite side so I could quickly un-fan it if the situation called for additional light.

Installing this light harp is simple because it is removable.

Note: Before purchasing, confirm that the lamp base is E26 with a collar ring (as shown in the images), used for a spider lamp shade.
