Not much can be said about this extender adaptor. It is what I use to connect two network cables. These are what I bought to go with my ICOM 2820 ham radio. The microphone connects via RJ-45. ICOM wants more than $70 for a comparable arrangement so you may extend the microphone as far as you need. This adapter can simply complete the task with just a basic RJ45 network cable. The router is not close to the two Xboxes and computer in the basement, thus WiFi simply wasn't good enough for online gaming. The remedy was this gadget! All I had to do was connect the Ethernet connection to this switch after running it from the router to the first device. I then attach the Xbox to this switch using a different Ethernet cable. When I get to the following gadget, I can run an Ethernet cable along the wall. Essentially daisy chaining these together to provide my three devices Ethernet connections. Now that all three devices are connected to the same router, they can all access the internet at lightning speeds for lag-free online gaming. Excellent product that I would absolutely suggest to others!
