Quite lengthy, but well worth reading: When I placed this privacy screen on for school (it was needed), there were bubbles all over the place. I submitted a review, and today I received not one, but TWO replacement screens — this one that I had purchased and their newest one. The bubbles were caused by static on my screen, they wrote in a letter, and they included wipes to help prevent this while applying. They went above and beyond by sending replacements even though the wipes would have been more than enough (I say the wipes would have been enough because you can easily remove the screen and put it back a few times before the stickers lose their stick). Remember, I didn't request a replacement; I planned to use the product I already had because, overall, it worked good. However, the replacement fits perfectly; there isn't a bubble to be seen, and I can't even tell I have a privacy screen on (except from the sides of course). Although the product does state that it is not ideal for touch screens, I have had no issues with the touch screen and it continues to function well. A fantastic company, a great product, and a terrific price. Thanks a lot!

I adore this screen protector for laptops! Buy this one if you can!Although it was actually quite simple to apply (there will be bubbles, but they aren't too difficult to scrape out), it didn't significantly lessen glare. Although the light reflections are a tiny bit more fuzzy, my screen is still very reflective.I'm glad I have two shields. The first one was roughly 1/8" wider than my screen, which I realized while I was smoothing it out. I believed I had checked. Although the bubbles weren't too horrible, I believed the second one would be better. Before I started, I cut 1/4"" off, and when I peeled off the top layer, I dropped it on the keyboard! Right in the middle, a permanent crimp was left. I made the decision to use it as practice since I had nothing to lose. Of course, I got more bubbles than on my first attempt, but it didn't matter! The bubbles and the crimp don't appear when I switch on the computer! Touch screen is still very functional.

Cons: I was concerned that the filter might slide over the screen (due to installation troubles), but after a few days it keeps in place. Pros: dims the screen while viewing from the side, so does the job; my touchscreen still functions even with the filter (the description suggested it might not work);Cons: The filter is connected with provided transparent double-sided stickers, and installation is a little challenging. These stickers must be on the screen's working area because the filter is the exact same size as the screen, and you can see them there. I wish they had changed the attaching process in some way to prevent this because, once attached, it's kind of there. You will need fresh stickers to reattach it if you decide to remove it.Overall: Does the job, however the installation might use some improvement.

In order to have complete side-to-side coverage (beyond the actual screen), I got this to suit a 15.6 Lenovo Y700. This matched that width size EXACTLY. It's a quality install if you take the proper measurements, clean your screen AND your hands, and give it a few additional seconds to line up. It worked like a charm for me to line up the side where I wanted it to go (this thing REALLY clings!) and carefully let it cover the screen while gently squeegying (NEW WORD!) from the middle out. It took me less than a minute, and I had absolutely ZERO bubbles. This is not a film; it is thicker, and despite having a matte appearance, it looks fantastic. Even when the screen is on, you hardly even notice it. Since this is the real deal, the extra protectors (this set came with 2) that I ordered but have not yet received will be returned unused. This was quite new for me because I've never applied a screen protector before that didn't result in a few tiny bubbles! And it sticks firmly... I don't think I'll ever have to be concerned about corners rising up.

I purchased a few of these to use with my 23" office monitors, and they work great. The screen becomes almost completely dark when viewed from a few degrees off-axis.They are unfortunately somewhat expensive, as is the case with any screen privacy filters, but they were still some of the most cost-effective filters I could find, and they don't seem to suffer as a result.The double-sided tape they include in the package made the installation quite simple. It's good that the tape doesn't seem to affect image quality or even really show up when it's fitted properly.
