The mitts arrived quickly and in good condition. For sparring, the weight, size, and quality are all suitable. Additionally, it is extremely safe and secure when in use. It received a 4-star rating because some foam protruded from its seams. Since the product is brand-new, I would anticipate that the maker would have given it a more perfect shape. I'm hoping that when I use the mitts more, this apparent fault won't cause it to degrade more quickly than it should.

These gloves are excellent, and I'll add that they are some of the less priced boxing gloves on Amazon that are constructed of premium LEATHER. I don't see why people are complaining that the punching mitts are too tight and lack grip inside; you want punching Mitts to be tight, and as for grip, I can definitely feel the ball-like cushioning in the middle of my hands. If you have trouble putting these on, just slip your hands inside and pound the mitt (or pad) from the top to snug the hand in place. Once you have one hand inside, repeat with the other hand by pounding mitt or pad to pad until both hands are fitted with these fantastic boxing mitts. I've been a USA boxing coach for 13 years now, and I trained 4 sons who have won and been invited to local, regional, and national levels. The mitts can take a beating, so don't be afraid to use them that way. You also shouldn't worry about the material because these are constructed of high-quality LEATHER that has been beautifully double stitched in the appropriate areas. Simply get them, apply the advice I provided above, and begin BOXing your way to victories in games, competitions, and perhaps Olympic gold.
