I needed them to replace an older mixing bowl set since they are strong. I desired nonreactivity (non metal). Although they may be put in the dishwasher, they are not microwave-safe but are great for mixing. I mostly wash the bigger two by hand because they are very huge. My counter has not yet been marred by the rubberized bottom. Be careful that these bowls are flatter than some mixing bowls, but they also hold just as much and are less likely to tip. The larger, due to its wide circle, barely fits into my higher cabinets, and in order for the cabinet door to close, the handle and pour sprout must be directed in that direction. Even though the handle is rubberized and extends significantly, I still long for the days when mixing bowls actually had handles that curved downward vertically. Because I use a hand mixer, the older bowls were easier to hold. Sadly, it appears that the previous model bowls (of a different brand) are no longer available. Although these bowls are Good Grips, they are clearly not the "best grip" bowls I have ever seen.

Every household needs a set of Pyrex bowls, so I bought these. If you look closely enough, the Constitution contains it.After receiving the bowls, I immediately noticed several little bubbles in the glass, particularly near the bottom of the largest bowl and directly at the lip of the two smaller bowls.Since I don't intend to use these bowls in the oven (where air bubbles in Pyrex may potentially go boom! ), I assumed I'd call World Kitchen/Pyrex and let them know about the flaw. However, these bubbles aren't really a bother for me.I sent them an email, and the next day I got a reply asking for pictures of the bubbles and the dimensions of the impacted bowls. It appears that Pyrex products are covered by a warranty, and World Kitchen is replacing them.Even though there are air bubbles in the bowls, they operate and are just what I wanted. World Kitchen also receives five stars for their fantastic customer service.

I purchased these bowls since the last ones I had slipped when I mixed in them, requiring me to hold them with one hand. The silicone foundation and variety of colors were what drew me in. First off, there is a ton of diversity, and every size is useful (not too big or too small). They may be used for nearly anything; I even prepare small salads to eat by themselves in the smallest one. While combining or kneading, the silicone on the bottom keeps them from slipping. It also makes it more difficult to tip them over, which used to happen to me more often than I like to confess. After all that, they are quite simple to clean as well! It will significantly improve your cooking life, thus I would highly recommend it.My old bowls were donated to Goodwill.

They work great and clean up beautifully. I love the flat bottom and really love getting all the different sizes. They don't have lids, but I don't need them for my purposes. These are very good bowls, and I love them. I bought them to make a double boiler to make homemade chocolate, and it worked great and cleaned up great. I enjoy baking, and they are ideal for combining and melting chocolate in a double boiler. If you do need a cover, you can, of course, cover them with foil. I believe they will survive for a very long time, though maybe not forever LoL.

I purchased these new lids after having a lid break on me; it simply cracked after little use. I am pleased with the purchase and have had no issues at all. The range of available colors also appealed to me much. My only caution would be that these Pyrex lids generally have a tendency to distort depending on how they are placed in the dishwasher. But it's not too horrible, and using them has never been an issue for me.

I needed more mixing bowls because I do a lot of cooking. These are fantastic—excellent construction, dishwasher-safe (although I wash the lids to reduce heat exposure); polished, etc. I adore the bowl-stabilizing rubber on the bottom. Excellent bargain, and the color-coded lids are fantastic and easily attach to bowls. All things are also well packed. This is a fantastic gift for a bridal shower or any other event!

nice bowl sizes The biggest one is really gigantic! I've only used it once to combine 2 pounds of baked macaroni and cheese with 6 cheeses, and even then, the bowl is nowhere near full. It will be helpful while mixing the major components because I have to prepare three separate kinds of cornbread dressing—one each for myself, my husband, and our son.I've only had it for a week or so, but my favorite size bowl already has some "blemishes" (see photo). First things first: It's perfectly natural for stainless steel bowls to have or emit a shiny tint. The outer section of the bowl must also be scrubbed with salt and lemon juice before being washed in hot water with soap. To be sure it's correct, I'd say it again.I purchased two sets of these bowls since I think they are such excellent bowls. They are of excellent quality, especially considering what I paid. These have a good capacity, and while I had anticipated that they would be a little deeper in shape, when used for breads and other items, they are actually not as shallow (and deeper than you'd imagine).

There's a reason professional cooks utilize these shaped bowls, or words to that effect, was SO, SO accurate in the assessment. I can quickly prepare the ingredients for a meatloaf that weighs 7 pounds and yields 4 individual loaves with this bowl. That's why I got it, and it definitely fulfills its purpose. My wife, who is 77, has Alzheimer's, so now I'm doing the cooking. I adhere to the philosophy of "cook once, make enough to freeze, then eat numerous times." Must if I'm going to do anything else. This bowl makes that process easier.Yes, it is thin and light (12 oz., according to my scale), however it is also easily dented and scratchable. Then what? It can be changed for ten dollars. I adore it rather than just liking it.
