2/4 is up and facing my front door. They operate perfectly now that I've read the directions and accidentally switched them on. The only thing to keep in mind is that mounting them high increases the motion range. They go off when automobiles drive by the home 20 feet distant (placed above my door, so approximately 7', plus 6" step inside door, plus two stairs to sidewalk), which is not that surprising given how most motion sensors operate. It's not a major deal since practically all motion sensors will do that. Since I live on a street that is generally quiet and the lights only remain on for a little period after cars have passed, the battery won't likely be negatively impacted. These two are on the south side of the house, so even in the winter they should receive enough of sunlight, which has been beneficial with the recent partly overcast weather.Don't misplace the device used to turn them on and off. It's quite lengthy. I initially attempted to get my SD and SIM card out of my phone using the "key," but it wasn't long enough.
