If you have already disabled Bluetooth in Windows 10 settings, go to Bluetooth settings and do so again. The "steel series stratus xl" controller will be found and configured when you click on hardware and sound > devices and printers > add device in the control panel, but this is not the item you require. After the device is installed, right-click it and remove it. Then, power off the stratus xl and turn it back on. (By the way, you might need to hold down the connection button at the top for 5–10 seconds to reset it.) The "HID compliant game controller" that you must use in order to receive input should be installed automatically. If the connection is successful, the controller's first led should turn on (sometimes the second one). If you want to test input, go to Start, type joy.cpl, press Enter, and then select Properties. You should see "steel series xinput controller" here. From there, you may test input. After extensive study, I found this on a Reddit topic, not something I independently came across. I would rate it as a 9/10 overall. The only thing I don't like about it is that to turn off the alarm while using it, you have to reach over the top. Pretty tiny button to look for while you're still exhausted. Even so, the snooze button is fairly small and located on the front.

This product is excellent, especially considering the cost. Its manufacturing company is also responsive. They provided me a replacement part for free when I needed one.There are only two issues I have with this product.1. When using bluetooth, there are sporadic delays. Playing a game that demands fine control will be more challenging. I'm not sure if this is an issue with this particular bluetooth controller or all of them. You can use a micro USB to micro USB cord or any other form of connection you require to connect directly to your phone. The Gamesir G4 has no discernible lag or delay when connected directly in this method.2. Many micro usb cords cannot fit into the top micro usb connector because of the way it is recessed. To make the connector fit the micro USB to micro USB cord I purchased to solve the initial issue, I had to remove a small piece of plastic with a knife.
