Best PC Virtual Reality Headsets in 2022

Are you looking for the best PC virtual reality headsets? With so many options on the market, it can be difficult to know which one to choose. Fortunately, we’ve done the research and put together this guide to help you find the perfect headset for your needs.

When shopping for a PC virtual reality headset, the first thing to consider is the type of headset that you need. There are two main types: tethered headsets, which connect to your PC via a cable, and standalone headsets, which don’t need to be connected to your PC. Both types have their pros and cons, so be sure to do your research to determine which one is right for you.

Next, consider the different features available. Many PC virtual reality headsets come with built-in headphones and other sensors, such as motion tracking and eye tracking. Be sure to check out the specs of the headset to ensure that it has the features that you need.

Once you’ve narrowed down your options, it’s time to compare prices. PC virtual reality headsets can range from relatively inexpensive to quite expensive, so it’s important to find one that fits within your budget. Additionally, be sure to check out reviews to get a better idea of which headsets are the most reliable.

Finally, be sure to factor in compatibility when making your decision. Most PC virtual reality headsets are designed to work with Windows, but some may be compatible with other operating systems, such as Mac OS and Linux. Additionally, be sure to check the minimum system requirements to ensure that your PC is powerful enough to run the headset.

We hope this guide has been helpful in your search for the best PC virtual reality headsets. Be sure to do your research and compare prices before making a purchase to ensure that you get the right headset for your needs. Good luck!

I can see a perfect case for the Quest. Similar to how the interior of the quest box was, the interior is molded to the controllers and headset. The head strap area is close enough to the headset mold so that a tightened strap will fit without velcro adjustment, and the headset is not overly crowded. For added stability, a second clipping strap is placed across the headstrap's bottom and the controllers. There are 2 zipped sections for storing cables and other items, and there is even space at the base for an Xbox 360 controller. The felt lens cover was an unexpected bonus that I was not aware of. The case is nice and challenging. I have no problems at all. With more storage options and a lower price than the Oculus brand, it's the ideal case for the quest. It did take a few weeks to arrive as it was shipped from China, if that qualifies as a complaint.

For my Oculus Quest headsets and controllers, I bought 2 of these. They are quite comfortable, and there is still some place for earbuds and/or an aux. power pack. They will be kept reasonably safe and dust-free thanks to it. Despite being molded, I wouldn't say the case is crush-proof. It will carry out the task I need it to. Although I don't abuse hardware, having a good case that isn't too expensive was crucial. Just be aware that these are from China. That will undoubtedly lengthen the time between placing an order and receiving it.

Oculus Quest VR Gaming Headset Aenllosi Hard Storage Case - 64GB 128GB#

Review:

Like others have said, this case is solid and effective. I'd advise anyone having a Quest to purchase this case. I was worried that once I tried to close the mesh compartment on the inner top of the case after inserting the quest and the controllers, it wouldn't be deep enough to contain the charger and other cords. It felt like the power wire and cords were not even close to the device, which made me pleasantly pleased when it closed without any issues or resistance (as opposed to other times when you close something and had to give it a little push to zip closed). I'm quite pleased with this buy overall. The ONLY downside I can think of is that I would have preferred a slightly tougher shell. However, it still functions, and I am pleased!

I've had nearly all Oculus VR iterations and was an early adopter, owning both development kits as both a gamer and a game developer.I wholeheartedly suggest the Oculus Quest to anyone wishing to enter the VR world. You probably just need the 64GB model unless you intend to store gameplay footage and other large files. The Oculus Go feels as near to wearing nothing as possible, and it is substantially more comfortable than the Quest, to the point where I occasionally forget I'm wearing it. This is my greatest complaint about the headset. I have to remove the Quest after about 20 minutes since it is uncomfortable because I am continuously reminded that it is on my face. When I hold both of them in my hands, the weight doesn't feel all that heavy, but when I'm wearing the product, it is definitely noticeable. However, if you have little to no prior experience with the Go or Rift, this is probably not going to be a huge problem.Everything else about it is fantastic, including the games, tracking, and wireless capabilities.

I've used all the major VR equipment up to this point, and I believe the Quest marks the beginning of the mass market's access to VR.Its wireless nature eliminates all of the setup required for any headset. Convenience is really important.ComfortWhile the weight distribution and interior airiness of the PSVR make it my choice for the most comfortable headset, the quest also fits well and has a strong feel to it. After playing for almost two hours, my forehead started to perspire from dashing around my living room smashing robots. But it didn't feel oppressively hot; the only perspiration I was producing was from playing an active game.Performance and Image QualityThe quest didn't have the screen door effect, which is one of the greatest problems I have with the Vive, and I never experienced a stutter or graphic problem throughout my early play sessions. It performed smoothly. I had no nausea. Robo Recall and other challenging games performed flawlessly.TrackingsFlawless. space, head, and hands. No problems at all. makes the room vr sensors appear archaic. And it took roughly 4 minutes from opening the box to entering the game (excluding a software update that took about 5 minutes).FeaturesCasting is one of the most intriguing built-in features. With simply a click of a button, I can send the headset image to my phone and subsequently to other devices. Along with recording, you can do other things. That's incredibly convenient because it allows you to follow along on your phone when demonstrating VR to someone who is less experienced. Good if you enjoy streaming and all that as well.SoundI'm going to probably wind up getting the genuine Oculus headphones. I wish to play more quietly, not because the sound quality is bad—it is. The speakers are rather audible.Last but not least, I play for around 2.5 hours before opting to charge it. It has a very long USBC cable that it comes with, and battery packs may be used with it.The location of the battery slider on the controllers is the only thing I have so far to complain about. Additionally, if you jerk and grab too tightly, they may slide. Just odd, not a deal breaker. easily mended with little tape, even a tiny bit. Alternatively, avoid gripping the controller in a way that might make the battery container slip open.

To compare this to the Lenovo Mirage Solo and determine which I would prefer, I preordered both. Eventually, depending on what I enjoy, I'll return one. My last VR device was the Gear VR, so the Oculus Go is a significant improvement. I was only able to utilize the Gear VR for about 10 minutes before I had to cool it down by freezing my phone. There are absolutely no overheating issues with this Oculus. That's a big plus, then. The controller is reliable, comfortable, and enjoyable to use thanks to the trigger. The speakers' audio quality exceeds expectations. Given their stature, the bass is adequate and it is clear. Better than expected, it sounds. In contrast to Lenovo's, I don't even need to use headphones.Apps: They cost more than I anticipated. They are, in general, more expensive than the Play or App Store, in my opinion. However, there is a ton of free content and apps available, so even if you really want to, you might only buy a couple. The headgear doesn't fit as snugly against your nose as the Gear VR did, leaving a small gap while worn. While wearing it, you can see a little of your chest if you glance down. But I can see why they did it; when you wear it, it will have ventilation near your eyes to prevent lens fogging. The heat from your eyes would make the lenses hazy in my Gear VR, which I had to remove every minute to clear, but this doesn't do that. The nose gap was fixed by slightly lowering the headset so that it was closer to my nose. It doesn't make a difference.I bought the 64GB version, assuming I would need the extra space, but oddly, nowhere does it mention how much storage you still have. I am unable to determine how much space I have utilized and what is still available. I've looked everywhere, but I can't find it. That is very strange. Undoubtedly, a patch will address this. This Oculus Go is operational as of right moment. You can't go wrong for $200–$250. Despite the fact that the Lenovo offers more capability with head movement, you'll probably end up returning it. (6dof). While the battery in the Lenovo lasts longer, it is a little heavier and the controller, well, it's simply awful. Google's reasoning is puzzling. Oculus advertises a two-hour battery life, but I've only had it for a few days, and even when I'm overly thrilled since I just got it, I don't use it enough to drain the power completely. (Your use may differ). Before the power drops to 50%, I've already removed this from my skull. Battery is not a problem because by the time I turn it back on, I am already charged to 100%.

These are fantastic for Beat Saber. I do concur with the earlier commenter that they should rotate, however there is a workaround for that. To have a point of reference at all times, place a little piece of electrical tape in the place where your thumb should be. I also believed that I was putting them on incorrectly, but you just keep rotating. Pulling the handle away from the controller while screwing the bolt in truly helps. As soon as it catches, the handle will immediately draw onto the controller. Because the controllers are farther away than you're used to, it takes some getting used to, but you do. I'm happy that I discovered AMVR products for my quest. I also got the disposable masks and the face mask! eager to see what they release next.
