Although I haven't tested its capacity to pierce a bunch of paper at once, I'm assuming that if you use SF 4 staples, this stapler will work just fine.Because the paper guide does not actually have a locking feature, I took away one star. Although it takes a lot of work to adjust, the guide can still be moved, even by accident. I solved this issue by attaching a piece of masking tape to the stapler's underside and designating the locations of the holding tabs for varied paper size lengths. I had to do this anyhow because I make books in various sizes. However, the unit does not actually have a locking feature as stated. Other than that, I am pleased with the design and manufacture of this stapler. :-)

I purchased this stapler specifically to attach the ends of belt keepers for a leatherworking company. But if you try to construct more than ten sheets of paper, I've always been frustrated by staples that repeatedly bend. Many people are familiar with the scenario of tightly gripping a stack of papers, inserting a corner into the stapler, and pressing quickly for the first try, crushing the staple, and then pressing slowly for the second try, crushing the staple, and so on with prayers and possibly some cursing until, at last, a staple manages to pass through the now-torn material. I was happy to drive a staple through a hefty stack of paper with almost no effort and no irritation. Even while this stapler serves a specific function for me, I can't help but appreciate the answer it offers to other stapling problems. Standard desk staplers can't even begin to compete with this one for the challenging chores that it completes without hesitation.

The other staples I tried wouldn't function properly, and I became discouraged because I thought I would never be able to locate the right ones.
