Everybody is correct. This radio is excellent! My radio wasn't working, and it would have cost $1200 to replace it, so I got it for my car. Ugh. Instead, I made the choice to have a portable radio. The controls are not horrible, however a few require consulting the handbook to operate. Great in terms of turning on, tuning, or volume adjustment. My favorite radio station's music makes working out more enjoyable. I swapped my old headphones for some better-fitting ones I already owned. The audio is crystal clear. Good but constrained volume The sound quality is sufficient for enjoyment even if I take off the headphones. All those seated at the table might hear it if it were placed on a picnic table. Some channels are static and don't come on at all. I believe it is well worth the cost. Because I haven't had to replace the batteries yet, I didn't rank them.

Due to the device's short battery life, the firm contacted me and offered to give me a replacement.
