One of those "holy crap" needle in a haystack Amazon deals from decades past was this one. Such a crucial addition to EZ Drummer's already vast sound library. I almost feel bad for purchasing it through Carlolargo for such a low cost. Faster than my musician friend's order, which was bought on the same day, it arrived at my house in 2 days after the order. Complete and shrink-wrapped, the disk was BRAND NEW RETAIL! It even had a sticker on it with a price that was far higher than what I paid. Great seller, great seller, great product!

I've experimented with a variety of virtual keyboard instruments over the past few years, ranging in price from completely free to rather pricey. In my opinion, Keyscape offers the most genuine and natural sounds of any of them, and they frequently motivate me to play more. This is very significant to me. This transforms everything when the sound of your instrument inspires you rather than forces you to compensate for it. I enjoy adjusting the built-in effects and other parameters a lot because the effects they support on the instruments are also exciting and simple to use.You receive a sizable selection of instruments, therefore the more instruments you utilize, the more valuable it is. The value per dollar won't feel as good if you only plan on utilizing one or two instruments, which is a minor drawback. Many musicians who don't have a lot of money and only need one or two instruments might be able to get started if they were able to purchase instruments in separate "packs" or some other form of equivalent. But I can see why it might be offered as a collection in some cases. The value is unmatched if you plan to use most or all of the instruments.The only thing I would change is to have more instrument varieties with effect options. For instance, not all variations of a particular instrument feature a "vinyl" post-processing effect. There doesn't seem to be a choice if you want a characteristic of one variant with additional consequences exclusive to another variant. There doesn't seem to be complete freedom, possibly for technological reasons, but the presets seem to cover the majority of use-cases with effects and other factors. As you may infer from the overall grade I provided, I still think the product is fantastic despite this minor restriction because additional freedom will only enhance an already outstanding product.

This is undoubtedly ToonTrack's most up to date drum collection, and it's excellent. If you own an EZ-Drummer, this is unquestionably the kit to use for more pop, hip-hop, and urban songs. This drum collection is best described as taking the kinds of drums you hear in electronic music and hip-hop drum machines and turning them around to make THEM sound like the genuine ones they're trying to imitate. Although it's a difficult concept to grasp, I promise that the benefits will be worth it. Additionally, compared to the previous expansion packs, there are almost twice as many different drum types, a ton of percussion (such as claps, snaps, foot stomps, shakers, tambourines, etc.), and a few effects accessible (distortion, heavy reverbs). This ToonTrack extension pack could be the best one currently available, and it's definitely worth the money.

In the past, when I used drum machines, the procedure was drawn out and uncomfortable. I've been prevented from going through that misery ever again by EZDrummer, and they sound incredibly authentic and fantastic! They don't (quite) replace the drummer, but they do give me the freedom to create and record practice tracks without disturbing others.I use the MIDI-capable recording program Tracktion 2 to capture audio on my PC. I adore Audition, however I had to switch because the version 2 I had used to study didn't support MIDI tracks.To add these drums to my tracks, I don't possess or need a sequencer. I always use the Tracktion 2 Click Track when I'm recording so that I can easily match up the EZDrummer drums when I subsequently add them. I switch off the click track after the drums have been inserted.The Toontrack DLL is easily added to the Tracktion 2 plugin filter list in the Settings/Plugin area after installing EZDrummer (follow the instructions and you'll be good). The "ezdrummer" VSTi can then be added to a particular track by right-clicking the Filter and choosing "ezdrummer." Then open EZDrummer by clicking the symbol you just made for the track's EZDrummer filter. When you have found the patches you prefer, click the "Open Grooves" button. Then, arrange the patches using the tempo-based measure grid so that they play in the proper order for the song by dragging and dropping them onto the track where you put the ezdrummer filter. Songs are certain kind of patches that are 12 to 16 measures.With my new drum machine, I can add drums to a tune in an hour as opposed to days in the past. Yes, there are some things that actual drummers, particularly jazz drummers, can perform with their eyes closed that sampled drums can't. But with the help of this sample set, the gap is narrowing. The authenticity of these drum sounds is unsettling. Then again, I didn't expect anything less than beautiful having Futureman working on this project. Toontrack performed admirably. There are an inordinate number of samples and drumming techniques used, and these drums sound incredible. The quality is also quite clear.This item was on sale for $39, which was a savings of over 50%. Even at full price, it is priceless.Phenomenal.

Mac/PC AAX Concert Grand Pianos Virtual Instrument

Although the I-lok can be a pain in the butt, the product is well worth the extra cost. The pianos are like God and flawless. I haven't used any other piano VSTs, but I did a lot of forum reading to decide between Steinway's East and West, Pianoteq 3, and Ivory II. I guess I would have ultimately gone with Ivory II, but Pianoteq 3 doesn't appear to be available on Amazon for further purchase.So, be sure to use a suitable controller. The best keyboard or grand action (and keys) I've ever found are on my Roland RD-700GX. The actual concert grand, which is really only a novelty after Ivory II, should be the final concert grand one ever needs, along with that and Ivory II:-) Cheers to great music! I'm glad I got this one.

Since it is the only thing I have ever required, I have been using Toontrack's EZDrummer (currently in version 2) with the Drumkit From Hell addon for almost ten years. My preferred genre is 1960s-70s-sounding doom metal, but I also play everything from vintage rock to death and black metal, and I have NO trouble creating beats or patterns. It's essentially drag-and-drop into your DAW, so you have the option of building a drum track in 5 minutes or spending days fine-tuning each single element. As far as computer midi synth software goes, Reason very much sets the bar due of its user-friendly interface and solid performance. I purchased this since it was a prerequisite for the synthesizer class I did. Even though a newer version is available, I continue to use this for work outside of class because it still does the job.
