I got this to replace the remote on my curved Samsung Smart 65 kid-hypnotizing device. Our Roku remote controls frequently vanish or are destroyed by dogs. This time, I purchased two of them for our Roku Express, and as soon as they arrived, I stuffed two AAA batteries into each of them and gave them a test run. They perform superbly! They lack the purple "Roku" tag, but who cares? They function! One of the remote controls is clearly marked "MINE!!!" and the family is aware of its owner. At about $6 each, these were an excellent purchase. Perhaps I ought to have bought a case of them.
