I have a ton of brushes, most of which are really costly, but I use these brushes every day because I adore their strong snap. They hold on to the paint for a very long time, making it fairly predictable, like using a marker. Highly suggested.

wonderful for varnishing I spent $8 on a cheap three-brush set, but the bristles parted and created large varnish streaks in my painting, as seen in the last image. Due to my decision to invest a bit more, the brush in the first picture saved the day. The second and third photos were taken after I cleaned it, and they show how well it cleaned while still leaving the bristles soft. I didn't want to spend quite as much on a brush, but when it comes to your work, don't skimp on supplies.

Although I'm not in the business of fixing paperback books, the brush I needed for two books worked without any bristles falling off. I'm sure there are better brushes, but I'm not in that business. These are affordable and did the trick for me.

Review:

These watercolor-specific brushes are excellent for small or detailed work. They are excellent at what they do, in my opinion, and I would suggest them. I clean my conditioning brushes with a brush conditioner and hang them upside down to dry. I've been using watercolor and gouache to paint birds lately. My paintings have a lot of detail, and I utilized these brushes to create it. I adore da Vinci watercolor brushes, and I always use them. I own a variety of brush brands, but da Vinci brushes are the greatest in terms of value and quality.
