Review:

This Beech Lane Water valve assembly 31705 for Thetford Magic V toilets was installed by me in a Zinger Z1 trailer, and it has been nothing but a source of frustration and annoyance ever since. I was at the dealership again arguing that they should be replacing these valves for free considering the factory originals are junk when I overheard a service guy tell the parts person to get online and order this valve because it's much better. Well, I saved myself a ton of money because I ordered the valve myself and changed it myself without any trouble; the dealer service estimate was $376. The valve is excellent, and the wonderful staff at Beech Lane and a new rubber floor sealing ring are also included... It's simple: Purchase this valve, some flexible water faucet connect up hose to ease the stress, and you'll be good to go for the duration that you own your RV. Oh, I do have one very little issue. No one warned me about how awful the smell would be when I pulled the toilet from the waste tank. Trust me on this one and clean and deodorize the tank beforehand.

Review:

This component was a perfect replacement for our Dometic 300 series toilet, as expected. As long as you have easy access to the toilet's back, replacing the part is simple. One screw secured the valve, which is snapped into the toilet's back. Disconnect the two water lines, unscrew it, pop it out, then do it the other way around. If you do need to take the toilet out to get to this valve, it's a simple procedure.According to what I understand, these valves are not particularly robust and are prone to cracking if they contain water that freezes, which is probably how ours did. Given this, it's crucial to winterize by draining the water from the lines. I'm going to get a backup to have on hand just in case.

I've looked everywhere for this component without any success. Even though I was still unsure if this was it, I decided to take a chance rather than purchase an entirely new RV toilet. Thank glad it solved our issue, and it took my husband approximately 10 minutes to complete. The old toilet is shown in the second picture since I neglected to take a picture of the new one before he finished everything. The first picture is of the toilet we used. I'm not sure how long this will last. We had the one that came with the toilet for around 3.5 years before it started leaking. Overall, I'm really glad and satisfied because it prevented me from having to buy an expensive new toilet.

To avoid making the tiresome nighttime potty walk, we utilize this when automobile camping. We keep it next to our sleeping bags and it doesn't smell—just a slight, nice aroma of deoderizer. Flushes politely (we pump it twice just to make sure the bowl stays clean.) Very simple to dispose of and clean; after a camping trip, we simply rinse with a bleach solution and allow it to air dry.

Review:

It's simpler to replace than you may imagine. Little disorganized, but not too horrible. I ordered this nevertheless because I haven't been able to identify the model number on my toilet. It turns out that my toilet does, in fact, have an overflow hole (you won't know this unless you disassemble it), so I drilled a hole in this gasket using my old gasket as a template. It worked perfectly within two minutes. The toilet now has water in it. The entire process takes 30 to 45 minutes. While working on this repair, I've been applying "oehappy camper" in my septic system; it works great and has no odor.

Review:

My Dometic has success with this. It performed the job and fit wonderfully. FOR EVERYONE WHO SAID IT DIDN'T!They may not be aware of the model of their toilet ( Look at your toilet and do a google image search "Dometic toilet 310" or 320")OR Your ball valve needs to be pulled back into position because it was knocked out of position. Your water should be turned off, the ball valve should be opened, a long instrument with a hook on the end, such as a crowbar, should be used (or your hand, if your arm is small enough; mine is not) ---> Hook the hinge arm, and then it should be pulled up gently yet firmly. A click may be audible or felt as the Ball valve is reinstalled. If that doesn't work, you'll need to remove the toilet and turn it over outside so you can plainly see the connecting place. When compared to a typical toilet, it is quite light.BEST OF LUCK!

After filing a complaint, I received the proper part a few days after receiving the faulty one. I was able to put the toilet on my work bench, remove the old valve, and replace it after removing the toilet (two bolts and water line disconnect). The improved design eliminates the seal leak issue the Thetford part had. After installation, the toilet functions as it should and is leak-free.

Review:

We got this to keep in our Eurovan for our toddler who is starting to use the potty, as well as to prevent late-night bathroom excursions. Very well done! Its size allows it to fit in the foot well of the passenger seat, allowing us to access it quickly (once the car is parked and the camp is put up) while maintaining a modicum of privacy. When flushing, press down on the simple pump flusher to fill the bowl with water and then open the valve to let the water and waste fall into the bottom waste compartment. This system works by filling the top compartment with water, placing a small amount of deodorizer in the bottom (along with some water to swish the deodorizer around), and then. It's highly user-friendly. Since we were switching campgrounds every day, we tended to dump it out every day, but I'd think that one adult and one child could use it without emptying it for 3–4 days. The actual toilet bowl stays exceptionally clean. Although dumping is simple, my spouse was far more skilled at doing it fast and proficiently. I must have held it incorrectly because I managed to flip over a camping restroom, causing leaks everywhere. I'm still unsure of why I held it incorrectly, but my husband never had an issue. We did discover that solid waste posed significantly greater challenges, necessitating repeated water addition to the waste tank, swishing around, dumping, and repeating. Additionally, we experimented with marine-grade, quickly degradable toilet paper. This had the effect of obstructing everything. I'm unsure if one of the briefcase toilets that use plastic bags would be better for our requirements, but this product performs as promised and even better than I had anticipated. The fact that setting up the toilet in the evenings and emptying it in the mornings added time to our set-up and breakdown procedure when we were traveling in a camper van and moving around a lot wasn't something I liked.
