There are a few things you should be aware of because this was my first ink pad purchase.1. This pad cannot be used with alcohol markers, such as copics.2. I've only had this pad for a few months, and I'm already having coverage issues. These worked perfectly to create some thumbprint heart magnets. The ink does need to come to the surface a few times with your thumb on the pad, but once it does, the colors are stunning. When we attached the paper to a glass gem with the glossy water-based mod podge, the ink didn't smudge at all.

Because my printer didn't have a "transparency" setting, I used the Matte Photo Paper setting instead. These display the colors from my inkjet printer even more vividly than they do on photo paper. My initial attempt did smear, but I later learned that I had the wrong side of the image printed. Additionally, I could see my finger prints from loading the film into the printer all over the. My second try was correctly printed, and the appropriate amount of drying time was supplied. Before handling the second sheet of film, I also wiped my fingers with a rubbing alcohol swab to remove any extra oils or lotions. The outcomes were stunning! I required these specifically for my assignment.The only drawback is that four out of the six sheets were filthy. They were simple enough to clean up with a microfiber cloth, but I don't believe that anything that I just pulled out of a brand-new packaging should require cleaning.
