After reading about how difficult it was for everyone to get the suction to hold, I decided against hanging this from the matching suction cup holder and instead used the 3M hook. The best option is to use the rubber on the squeegee. The glass doors are thoroughly cleaned to get rid of any remaining water stains. The handle was not too short in my opinion. In fact, because the handle is out of the way, I discovered that using it to wipe water from the bottom of the glass door is made easier by its length.

Our main bathroom and guest bathrooms both have this set. In case the suction failed, I placed mine close to the back or bottom of the tub wall, but so far it has held. They are excellent in draining the water from our bathtubs and showers. Without any modifications, the suction has held well in both rooms. I was worried that this metal-handled squeegee might rust because I still have orange water coming out of my shower and bathtub (don't irritate your plumber or you'll have orange water for more than a month), but I have seen absolutely no staining of any type. a very nice item that doesn't appear or feel inexpensive. One of my better Amazon purchases, without a doubt.
