Review:

Knipex pliers are the best! These have the strongest grip of any plier, hands down, feel wonderful in the hand, are quick and simple to adjust thanks to the push button mechanism. Even if Knipex's cobra pliers beat them, I still appreciate and support Channel Locks because they are one of the few tool manufacturers that has remained in the USA. I particularly appreciate how they are made to avoid pinching your fingers when you use them.Don't question the cost or hesitate because of it. These pliers are actually toughened, so it's incredibly easy! In this age of disposable soft steel manufacture, a very rare commodity. The teeth will easily slide over a file when you run it over them. You can notice that the file easily penetrates the soft steel if you try that with any imported trash you get at Walmart. This means that, unlike soft metal pliers, which would round off and slip when you tried to use them on anything like a pipe, these pliers would truly grasp into the metal and turn it.The praise for these is endless. Crazy, a tool that actually works. 5 stars! ^ ^

Review:

I work in the HVAC industry, and even though it seemed too little at first, I threw in my Veto TP4 anyhow. These tiny pliers turned out to be the perfect size and are capable of doing the majority of the chores I require them to. They're ideal for working inside disconnects and the condenser when I'm installing. I usually grab them once or twice a day. I enjoy the comfort grip handles because they fit comfortably in my hands. Additionally, I like the vivid colors because they are simple to spot if you set them down. They are lightweight, take up little space in my luggage, and are just excellent pliers. The pliers' shape and size enable them to be used in confined spaces. These little creatures are adorable, and I wouldn't think twice about buying more.

Review:

It's pliers. The perform. They appear to be quite robust. The design of the jaws was carefully considered (gripping small round objects like nuts with these is easier than with flat-surface pliers). Additionally, the grips are incredibly cozy.It took me about 2 seconds to get used to the push button adjust/release design, and I for one think it's a little simpler to get the precise opening size you want with these. The release mechanism to change the jaw size is not the same tongue and groove design as the Chanellocks many of us are accustomed to.I can't answer to the long-term longevity of these tools because I don't use them very often, but I can't see anything that would suggest that I won't outlive these Irwins.

Review:

Had a stuck Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil filter (M1-204) that I had been using for a year nonstop (per the "extended performance" 1 year/15,000 mi guarantee), and I couldn't turn it even while seated underneath my Jeep and firmly grasping it with two hands covered in rubber gloves. While I'm not a Strongman, I'm also not particularly weak either. I tried everything before realizing the absurdity of the situation: why don't I have a $10 pair of oil filter pliers when I have so many other tools? It's not like getting an oil change every time is a surprise. The 12-inch Tekton oil filter pliers are now available. I've bought a few Tekton tools from Amazon over the years, and I've always been happy with them. This time, I chose them again, and I'm happy again. These precisely fit around the Mobil 1 oil filter (M1-204) and, in my opinion, could handle oil filters with a diameter even a little bit wider than this one. I also believe that this oil filter is in the middle to upper end of typical car oil filters. I had to push so firmly that the filter began to crumble, but this posed no issues and really made it possible for the pliers to sink in and turn without slipping. The filter began to twist off at last. Woohoo! Now that I have these, an oil change will never again take three days to complete.

8. Knipex 8801250, 10-Inch Alligator Pliers

Knipex 8801250, 10-Inch Alligator Pliers

Informations:

Compared to traditional water pump pliers of the same length, these have greater output and comfort: provide 9 adjustment positions for 30% greater gripping power.

Due to the narrow size in the head and joint region, the workpiece is easily accessible.

Low wear and dependable grasping are provided by gripping surfaces with specially hardened teeth with an approximate 61 HRC hardness.

Self-locking on pipes and nuts: minimum handforce needed and no slippage on the workpiece

High stability thanks to the box-joint design's twofold guide#

Review:

The Cobras are actually not an option for me because of the hard area I operate in. To prevent rust, these will presumably need a monthly or so application of WD-40. This tool is so simple to open and close that I actually like it better than the push button, which forces you to adjust your grip. I get the impression that these can be opened and closed with one hand with some skill.

shears for cutting wire

Jaw serrations for a secure grip

Nut and bolt failure is eliminated by the PERMALOCK fastening.

High-carbon steel is used by CHANNELLOCK for greater performance on the job, and it is specifically coated for the most effective rust prevention.#

Review:

These Chanellock tools are of the same high caliber as the rest of my collection. In order to make them run more smoothly, I had to remove some of the rust-preventive coating that had been applied because the fit between the sides is so tight. The cutters and the slip joint both function flawlessly. Neither set of teeth is sloppy, and they both have good grip. The distinctive blue vinyl handles are cozy and not too slippery to hold. I prefer to purchase American-made tools, and Channellocks are a great choice. I've had a pair of Channellock wide jaw (multi-joint) pliers in my toolbox since I was a youngster, and they are 45 years old. They are still as good as the brand-new pair I purchased last year even after being used for more than 40 years (I needed a bigger set). I also have a tiny pair of Channellocks that I have worn for the past 40 years and keep in my back pocket. They remain indistinguishable from the day I purchased them. Strongly suggested brand.
