I made the decision to give these 10s a try, and at first it was a little challenging to play and uncomfortable, but I could still hear a difference in the tone.They instantly feel fantastic and really comfortable (a few weeks later). They won't be moving back to 9s because I found what I was looking for.

I've played music professionally for more than 50 years. Even while I adore my strat, it still couldn't generate the sounds I was looking for, so I decided to take a chance on the Epiphone Les Paul Special II. WOW! Since it cost $200, I anticipated the typical issues with inexpensive guitars like cheese-grater frets and the necessity for a proper setup. Instead, I took a gorgeously tuned guitar out of its box! Every fret was smooth, there was no buzzing, the neck was straight and true, there were no evident flaws in the body or finish, and when I played it, I couldn't believe how good it felt! My azz, beginner guitar! This guitar sounds, feels, and plays like a pro instrument—especially given the price! Although this kind of mahogany is lighter than the "genuine" stuff, it still far outperforms basswood and other less expensive woods that are typically used in budget guitars. My only complaint is that the bridge cannot be adjusted to change the height of each individual string, even if The Pups had just the humbucker sound I was hoping for. The only thing I might change is that, but even after lowering the action to my preferred level, there is still no buzz! The setup on this instrument is excellent. I'm so pleased with this instrument. Thank you, Epiphone! I can now understand why they position it as a beginner's guitar even though it successfully competes with their more expensive lines, including the Gibson models.

I made this purchase four months ago, unsure of whether I would continue with my guitar studies. I purchased the Rock Prodigy app for my iPad, and it has proven to be a fantastic tool for learning the guitar. In order to continue learning, I recently upgraded to a better, more expensive guitar. But this beginner one is a terrific deal and just what I needed to decide whether or not to continue. The tuner stopped working after two hours, but there are fantastic free tuner apps available, so I didn't mind. My guitar/amp combination hums, which is the only drawback in my opinion. I then chose a more expensive guitar with active pickups as a result. Still, I would advise anyone just getting into guitar to try this combination. Despite what other reviewers have said, I believe the amplifier is fine. Additionally, I own a Fender Mustang 2 amp. While the amp that comes with this kit sounds acceptable for someone just starting out, the mustang amp has a better and louder tone. And I find it loud enough. You only need to add a guitar stand to this kit. For around $13, Amazon has some quality options. The guitar appears to be well-made. It doesn't matter how closely I examine, I can't find any defects. This guitar's rounded edges and low weight make it quite cozy to hold while playing. It comes prepared for use. All it needed was a little tuning adjustment to be playable. It's a fantastic deal, in my opinion. I also like the color blue.

My third IYV guitar, and each one has been of exceptionally high quality. I just had one small issue with the lower E string poking out of the nut neck slot, but I was able to fix it by using a nut file to expand the hole just a little bit. It's not made of plastic, but actual bone! The bridge has been significantly lowered, and the movement is now fantastic. The truss rod didn't even need to be adjusted. The temperature in Asia differs much from that of North America, thus during shipment, the wood may swell or contract, but this guitar did excellently. The item page only depicts two fret dot inlays at the 12th and 24th frets, however the one I received has three dot inlays, just like the original "Red Special." The body appears to be two pieces, with mahogany caps on the front and rear, but the Trans Red finish makes the wood grain glow brilliantly. The appearance is not accurately captured in the item page images. The very deep, rich rosewood (?) frets resemble ebony in color. Time and wear will tell. weighs 7 lbs, thus I may assume the main body is also made of mahogany. The switches allow you to achieve a wide range of tone variations. Although it is not a very loud Heavy Metal guitar, it performs ballads and Hard Rock flawlessly. IYV is to be commended for creating an instrument that rivals a Fender Telecaster in quality and affordability. Just stunning!

After my band broke up in favor of acoustic guitars and music, I gave up my Fender Jaguar years and years ago. I still had a hankering for the sound of electric guitars. Consequently, I took a chance and got this Squire Affinity Strat HSS since I didn't want to spend $1600 on a Fender American Standard Strat. I had read a lot of positive reviews about how well they performed, the quality of the build, etc. Years ago, I played a couple Squires, and they were merely passable. This Squire Affinity is a great buy at this pricing, I have to confess. Although the tremolo is useless and the tuning machinery are subpar, the frets, neck, and body of this guitar have clearly been finished with "hand labor." My setup was excellent right out of the box. Perfect neck fit. With these Squires, I think Fender is exerting more control over quality issues. The sound of this Strat is excellent when combined with a solid amp and inexpensive compressor and overdrive pedals. Does it perform equally well as a Standard or Tele? No, however considering the price, I think it plays far better than the $200 asking price. This item truly transforms into a wonderful guitar when you alter the tuners and lock down or remove the tremolo. If you haven't guessed it yet... I enjoy playing this guitar a lot and do so practically daily. being old but still playing!

First things first: This is a MINI AMP that you play about with. Many users appear to have inflated expectations of these types of amplifiers and give them poor ratings as a result. They work well as practice amps that don't disturb the neighbors and take up little room, but they aren't the kind of amps you could use for shows with larger audiences. Having said that, this Fender is a great small instrument.This tiny guy is much smaller than I anticipated given that he has two 2 "speakers. There is no other way to describe it other saying it looks cute, which is not something a guitarist would like to hear about their instrument. I really enjoy the way it looks, which makes sense given that it has a tweed exterior, chickenhead knobs, and is smaller than the '57 Twin. The quality of the tweed covering and the leather handle give it a lovely, cool, classic vibe.It has a lot of cool tricks for sound and volume. The sound is still incredibly clean even with the gain set to zero and the volume all the way up to 12, however the level is a little low. With the gain down, my Danelectro Honeytone, which has a similar 1w output, is louder, but at full volume, it breaks out into OD and isn't as pure as the Fender. The amp produces an amazing, overdriven sound with the gain and volume set to 12 that, in my opinion, compares favorably to that of its larger sibling. It sounds warm, sweet, and crunchy, but not in the manner of death metal.I have a thing for tiny little little amps, and I think this Fender is definitely worth a look.The Minis I own are from Fender "Danelectro Honeytone 57 Twin Orange CR3 Micro Crush Pix Vox Amplug AC30 with 0.7 Amplug

First of all, as I am a beginner, I had no notion what to anticipate or how to pick a good guitar. However, I looked into it because my son wanted an electric guitar.
