I use this outside in a Chauvet Hurricane 1301 fogger in our scary woods where I work at a haunted house.This combo would be able to fog the majority of our route, which is roughly a quarter of a mile long.It hovers for a few minutes, maybe longer. To protect the life of your fog machine is the reason. If you don't, the pump will eventually wear out or seize because it is too thick. What I do is combine this with a gallon of distilled water in a 1:1 ratio, or 50% fog and 50% distiller water. Ultimately, you have two gallons of fog juice. In order to avoid any blockage, I will also add some distilled white vinegar, perhaps half a cup, to clean the fog machine as it operates.My results were obtained using diluted fog rather than straight fog. Therefore, after diluting it, the price of a gallon of this will be roughly equivalent to that of a gallon of fog fluid from a large local retailer, and the bog fog will still hang and be thicker than the inexpensive stuff for roughly the same price.

This was a purchase we made to go with the fog machine we also made on Amazon.com. The machine I purchased contained a tiny bit of different fog juice. I love this FogWorx HD juice. Compared to the cheap items I purchased from the neighborhood department shop, it is far superior. Unless a product genuinely impresses me, I rarely write reviews. I utilized a 400W fog machine outside with this product. I skipped the fog chiller. That ground-clinging effect, like at a graveyard, was not what I was going for. This product creates a thick, stark-white fog that readily spreads, rolls, and captures colored light. When there is a slight breeze, it creates amazing clouds and shadows. When there is no breeze, it emits terrifying plumes that are ominous to walk through, especially at night. None of the other fog juices I tested were as successful. Please see the photo I've included; there was a gentle breeze. I would strongly advise against using this indoors, or if you must, use a smaller machine than mine. I left mine on auto-pilot for many hours, and by the time it was finished, the entire street, including my house, was shrouded in an eerie mist, and new clouds of fog were rolling down my walkway.

When I first took it out of the package, I felt it was a little small, but after using it, I understood there was no need for it to be any bigger. When combined with top-notch fog juice, this gadget produced a ton of fog. I used this item three days in a row because I could not believe how nicely it worked. Once heated, it emits fog for roughly 20 seconds before needing another 10-15 seconds to prepare to emit fog again. I was able to start the machine with the remote from the opposite end of a very long corridor thanks to the remote's considerable range. It also emits the fog very high, so it tends to linger (depending on the quality of your juice). It didn't consume a lot of juice either; I only had to restock it on the third day. Everyone remarked on how well it functioned for the price, and if you're looking for a cheap but dependable machine, it's tough to match this one. I used it to fog up my front porch and path for Halloween and am really delighted with it. Amazing value for the money and ideal for the job. The red button was held down with a rubber band so that it would keep shooting up on its own. A few eccentricities that I have grown to enjoy. 1) It is not continuous; after roughly 30 seconds of smoke production, it requires 30 seconds to recover. However, that actually creates a lovely Halloween effect outside. 2) It has decent power. I wouldn't use this inside, and I definitely wouldn't use it at nighttime near stairs. In order to prevent falls, I had to move it away from my porch stairs. 3) A slight breeze is excellent. It creates a variety of lovely smoke patterns throughout the house. In high wind, this won't work.
