I seriously considered giving either 1 or 5 stars for the first time ever. In the evaluations I read before making the purchase, nobody brought up a significant aspect. Here I go:1 star because using these to hang clothing is a waste of time. When it comes to grip, they function TOO well. You'll have to work really hard to get your T-shirt on one of these without getting irritated. Even button-up shirts are annoying.It is given a fair rating of five stars because it is essentially what they are meant to accomplish, therefore it fulfills its job well. They are beautifully made, came wrapped carefully, and have a very modern appearance. Putting aesthetics aside, despite trying for the past two months, I am unable to adjust. Just hanging my darn clothes takes so much longer.I therefore suggest extreme care because I do regret my purchase. Imagine the terror if the typical plastic tubular hangers were wrapped in, say, double stick tape. They slide through clothes with ease. These hangers are that nightmare! LOL

The nooks (I don't know what else to describe them!) on these hangers are great so your items won't slide off. They are made of sturdy plastic. They have sharp edges, which is the only reason I'm not ranking them higher. As you might anticipate from a set of hangers that costs more money, these are not completely smooth. These were quite useful to me in helping to expand the space in my tiny closet. Compared to any of the plastic models I've tried, the metal is more robust.
