I've played a lot of Nintendo and Super Nintendo cartridges, and the system is flawless and free of any bugs or issues.It's important to note that this system contains an HDMI connector, allowing you to connect it to an HDMI input on modern HDTVs. The setup is excellent; the picture is rock strong at 720p and fills the screen on my 65-inch 4K TV. My first gaming system was cheaper, but it lacked the crucial HDMI connector. This system works, and for $80, I think it was a good deal.Nevertheless, I'm astonished that the vintage, original game cartridges still function after spending years exposed to the severe temperatures found in attics. However, this system plays every one of them flawlessly (and my old Game Genie cartridges also function!).Although I haven't tried any Genesis games yet, I'm confident the system works just as well with my now-vintage Nintendo games as it does with Genesis cartridges. I cherish these items. After acquiring this bundle, I have both the US and the European versions. Since these are the European version marketed in many various countries with many different plugs, most people who complain about the lack of a power adapter should realize that it would be absurd to try to include all of those plugs when any 5 volt 1.5 amp phone charging block will suffice. It pays to read the product you are purchasing. In contrast to Sony's terrible attempt with the PS1 Classic, Nintendo performed a fantastic job on these. Wishing Nintendo would release an N64 Classic soon.

Therefore, this works at full 60hz/60fps, unlike the original Pal versions of SNES games. Additionally, it upscales to 720p, however 1080p or 4k would be preferable. I thought the mode 7 hardware could handle it. In terms of hardware, the NES Classic's internal storage is identical to it in every way. There is 246mb of spare space as well. So you can easily add more than 70 additional games with space for save states using modification.The controls feel wonderful. Pressing buttons is quite pleasant, and each plastic component feels nice for what it is. I just have two complaints. The controllers' wire length is one; the dummy control ports must be folded down in order to plug in the controllers. It's a peculiar design.Look, it's easy and entertaining for both my children and me. It is simple to use and customize. It's a lot more practical than my old SNES. And of higher quality than a case for a raspberry pie. The box America received looks terrible compared to the euro version. For me, it has been well worth it, and the games never get old.

After doing some research, I decided to take a chance on this model despite my initial reluctance. I really needed a simple way to play my Super Nintendo games on my HD TVs.The construction quality is excellent. This is something that I cannot emphasize enough, especially for a console of this cost. Furthermore, it effortlessly supports all of my cartridges, including my original cartridges and the Data East collection (multi-game cart), which I simultaneously ordered. Chrono Trigger took me two hours to complete, and I experienced no lag or audible or visual issues at all. The 16:9 aspect ratio surprised me, but I found that game and every other one I tried (DKC, MK, PM) to be very fun. I also tested the 4:3 aspect ratio switch, and everything appeared to be in order there as well.The games appeared better on my 4K TV than they did when they were displayed from my SuperNes Classic, which really impressed me. I was really impressed, however some of that may have been due to the features of my particular set (A Visio M series 65"). Although there might be some games where that isn't the case, the sound to my ears was faultless. In fact, I thought the audio output from my original SuperNes was on par with or better than the sound quality of this one.Overall, this is a great deal for the price. Check out the photographs to see how well the console is packaged. One RCA audio video cable, one Micro USB cable, one HDMI cable, and one AC adapter are all included. I also adore the light that turns on in the right corner of the device when it is turned on. Another fantastic feature is the cartridge eject button, which performs as it should. Currently, I am using my PC's USB hub to power the console, however there is also an AC adaptor supplied. The game controllers are excellent. They run well and without any lag in my hands. The 10 foot cord is also a wonderful addition. I was astonished by how comfortable these controllers felt. I believe some customers received faulty products, which is why they left poor reviews, but I'm not sure. In case the performance deteriorates, I will update this.

The screen is the only letdown. It's the kind that gets darker as you adjust your viewing position. The screen quality is a touch hazy, and there is not much variation in brightness. As the writing can seem a little hazy between 1-2 when there is a black background, I always keep it between 3 and 4.Not bad, the control buttons. Although it could be improved, you become used to the d-pad. When playing fighting games, you could have some trouble and need to be more exact because you might unintentionally jump or duck when pressing left or right, or vice versa. To me, it's not a huge issue.With headphones, the sound is excellent. There is no distortion, buzzing, or static when I use my Sennheiser HD 598 SE. That's a huge plus in my book.With any of my games, I have no issues. I opened every cartridge I owned before purchasing the Supadoo SFC and cleaned the contact pins with a pencil eraser to eliminate rust, followed by q tips bathed in 99% isopropyl alcohol. Before you point the finger at the supaboy if your games won't boot, think about completely cleaning the contact pins.The Supaboy SFC is amazing overall, but it might be even better. If I had paid more than $100 for it, I would have given it 3.5 stars, but I only paid 65. The screen should be better for over $100. And why not simply maintain a 4:3 aspect ratio? I would have given it five stars if the screen were better.

I'm only using it with an old CRT television, but I wanted to have HD capabilities in case I ever needed to switch to HD televisions.I have HD TVs, yet I still use a CRT TV in my room with the classic game consoles.Since the prices vary and I don't want to disparage any particular businesses, I won't compare this to other units.I spent a whole Sunday playing five games on this console, and it has proven to be well worth the money.I think the sound and picture are excellent.Although not the finest in the world, the controllers are adequate for the price and perform well.I'm content overall because this was money well spent.
