I've finally used it, and while it seems nicely crafted, only time will tell. I anticipate that most board socks in this price range will be very comparable. Exactly fits the board. I would want to see some additional strengthening at the tail and little thicker cushioning at the nose (besides just the material). If you drop the board on hard ground, it will probably ding even with this board sock on, but it offers good protection if you're more careful. Works perfectly in my truck's bed (though I have a rubber bed protector). Overall, it appears to be cost-effective and will accomplish its goals. It was also mailed out quite quickly!

This is a nice day bag all around. Materials appear to be of a respectable caliber. The sturdy grade plastic zipper pulls should last for a very long time. The cushioning is a little bit thinner than two other day bags I own (bought them for $50 years ago, which is a steal by today's prices), which is the only reason for deducting one point. If this bag had a little bit more cushioning, I would feel more secure carrying my extremely hefty, glassed old school longboard inside of it. For those looking for a bag that is solely for protection against the inevitable dings and dents that we all dread, I would still suggest this one.

Growing up in Hawaii, everyone is aware that Dakine is the best material to buy if you want anything to last.This board bag has a very sturdy handle and shoulder strap, and it fits my 9' 4" board with enough to spare to store my soft racks for use on rental cars. At least on Hawaiian Airlines, this luggage is airline-safe.I only have positive things to say about this bag.
