This DLP chip was purchased for my Samsung HLT6187SX/XAA (61" LED DLP). Since I've had the TV for around 5 years, I've been noticing more and more white and black dots on the screen, and it appeared that changing the DLP chip was the best course of action.The new DLP chip eliminated all of the white/black dots on the screen, proving that the replacement was successful. The new chip, however, resulted in the screen being covered in uniformly spaced vertical white lines. The white vertical lines vanished when I put the old chip back in, but the white/black dots returned as predicted. After that, the vertical white lines returned when I inserted the new DLP chip.My particular TV model was listed as one of the compatible TVs for this replacement chip, however it appears that the chip isn't functioning properly. I've done a little online research, and some people suggested that the TV might have another problematic part, but the fact that I can replace my original DLP chip and the vertical lines go away seems to refute that.Revision: 2013-10-05The RMA for the DLP Chip with the vertical white lines was quickly accepted by DLP TV Parts Distribution Wholesalers (http://www.amazon.com/shops/A197PSWI2ZC5). I sent the damaged chip back, and they provided a new. But you can bet I'll be getting another RMA set up if any more white spots show up in the following 90 days (the duration of the warranty).Revision: 2013-11-10When I complained to the Seller that the part they supplied had a flaw, they did not respond (single white dot). A fresh white dot has arrived on the screen after a month. I've been in touch with the seller to ask if I can get another replacement. The packaging is very compact and of excellent quality. The lighting is fantastic! I adore how small it is and how wonderfully the remote operates. I connected it to my 2014 LG TV's USB port, and it works great. with TV, turns on and off. The only issue I have is that whenever I switch it on, it always goes into random mode or the blinking mode. Every time, I have to manually adjust it using the remote. I wish it would "remember" my most recent saved setting. However, this is a great deal for the price! I advise it!

There is a 70 "TV, so I set out to locate a light strip that would not only be dependable and durable enough but also one that would fit the big TV without looking out of place. The images demonstrate that for a 70 "TV, it will encircle the top, right, and left sides of the device, leaving the bottom bare. After giving it some thought, I opted to buy this item, figuring it would be fine to leave the bottom side unlit (or that we could get a shorter one later if we really needed to light up the entire thing).Here is how we dealt with it:1. When the box was opened, the securely sealed bag was flat and nicely packaged. The strip, however, was slightly tacky around the edges, so I carefully removed it from the bag and started to unwind it.2. After grabbing each end and locating the center, we cut off about a centimeter of the plastic backing, pulled back the center a little, and adhered it to the back of our TV's center.3. After that, we were able to line it up along the left and right edges of the top and across both of the top's sides. According to the directions, you should fold the corners in on themselves. This was simple to do, and the strip feels solid enough that you don't have to worry about damaging it.4. When we reached the TV's bottom corners, we discovered that there was still a significant amount of the strip remained. I then became concerned at this point. Quite a bit, but not THAT much, was left over. We moved it across the bottom of the TV from each corner, only to discover that there was around 1.5 feet of empty space in the middle.5. After gazing at it for a bit, we sighed and briefly shrugged our shoulders before turning it on. Hey, it looks very good, we thought.I did deduct 1 rating due to the inaccurate measurements, descriptions, and illustrations. Even though we wouldn't have lost any sleep over it, it would have been good to know exactly what we were getting. Otherwise, we might have had to buy a different strip and add that extra bit to make up the difference.** A GUIDELINE FOR ANY POSSIBLE BUYERS:I was concerned about how the length of the strip might affect its ability to plug into the USB port after being attached to the TV. I chose to get the Sabrent 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs (HB-UMLS) along with this strip just to be on the safe side, and I'm very happy that I did. The USB hub turned out to be a terrific extension chord as well as a great small on/off switch, if we chose to use that instead of the remote, because the strip was too short to reach the USB port and ended up stopping near the bottom center of the TV. We used some 3M to attach the hub to the TV's back, and presto! Update! The seller contacted me in response to my review and provided me a new strip. Almost two years later, the LED Strip is still functioning well, and I haven't encountered any problems with it. I'm glad they got in touch with me and gave me the opportunity to try this product again because I've been pleased with it.After using the set for about a week and a half, some of the LEDs began to show colors other than those that the set would display. For instance, if all the lights were supposed to be blue, they would go green instead. At first, it was only one, so I didn't worry too much because I really like the fact that the set is controlled by the TV's USB port rather than an external device. However, then suddenly, like five of them are out of sync, and one keeps flickering As I previously stated, I truly wanted to like this product, but I'm not sure how with problems like these. Perhaps it's one of those goods with which you have luck with some and bad luck with others.

It would have cost me five to ten times as much to have this board repaired.The control board on my Goodman GDS80904BXBA AC/Furnace was directly replaced by this. The heat and cool terminals are switched, as indicated in previous reviews, and the physical fit is perfect. The wiring location is virtually perfect. They are labeled, making it simple to find them). The board looked to be of a higher caliber than the one I took out.It probably took me 20 minutes to switch the boards. Now that I know how to do it in 10, perhaps I won't ever have to.Excellent stuff and rapid seller service. 5 Stars.

The vizio remotes don't last very long (at least this model). In the three years I've had a TV, I've gone through six remotes. It appears to be a well-known problem, according to Vizio support. I haven't decided whether to just buy a new TV or keep buying remotes. Amazon offers considerably better prices than the manufacturer. There is a yearlong warranty on it. However, that will inevitably expire at least a few times.

The only connector that would function is this one; I have no idea what happened to the original connector that came with the TV. It worked perfectly when I connected an HD flat antenna with it.
