Since I just received this, I don't want to write this review in a rushed manner. If something goes disastrously wrong, I'll just... Review the other two of this same equipment that I recently ordered and make the necessary changes. Providing some background To test whether it would be a suitable replacement for some seriously sagging bookcases I acquired last year to contain my sizable booze collection, I bought this unit. I thought, "What the heck," after looking at the specifications and then the reviews. I like that it shipped very quickly and arrived. I also appreciate how simple it was to assemble this device. I had no issue putting it together in about 15 minutes after carefully reading and following the instructions. I want to address a couple complaints from unfavorable ratings in this review. YES, when they arrived, one of the shelves was somewhat bent. I pounded it straight with a mallet. Issue is resolved. The tiny plastic collars that keep the shelves in place are fluted and have a top and a bottom, thus YES, they do have those features. You shouldn't experience any issues if you install them appropriately. There is also a top and a bottom to the shelves. the same. When it is completely put together, is it a little wobbly? That's ok, ANCHOR IT TO THE WALL. The anchoring method it came with didn't really impress me, so I purchased a 50 cent metal bracket from the store, and my workaround is excellent. Additionally, I placed some of those furniture slider disks beneath the legs, which were really effective in moving it into place. THE BEST PART IS HERE: It is robust when erected and fastened properly, and I am confident that it can support the claimed weight. This first one is standing straight and true after being loaded with rum. Oh yeah, if you're going to use this for items like bottles, acquire the shelf liners because there is a lot of gap between the wires on each level. I ordered some and, while I wait for them to arrive, I'm making do with cardboard (simply cutting up the box it came in). I enjoy this unit all around. Is it VERY alluring? No. Is the packaging ideal as is? No. Is it worth the money? Yes. Do I recommend it for needs involving simple, quick-to-assemble shelving? Yes.

The reviews and concerns about how flimsy it is, how it arrives damaged, how the parts don't attach or close entirely, blah blah, made me nervous. I also noticed that the shelf sleeves holding each shelf don't entirely close. I watched movies and looked online before giving the design some serious thought. Why would you want them to totally shut down? It's not you! When the shelf is forced down by the weight of what you are stacking and by the taper of each sleeve, the engineering behind it is to produce a tight compression. Instead of this tightness, you would have long-term issues with the shelf collapsing if you had something large enough to completely encircle each leg. This item's high level of durability is a result of this manufacturing "error."Conclusion: Don't take the concerns seriously. Get this shelf right away. See my photo for evidence. Probably more than 50 pounds, just in car accessories and tools.

Quality shelves that are easy to install and reasonably priced, as others have commented. Very happy with the purchase. went into some studs in the garage with ease, right where I planned to move the shelving. I already have a lot of weight on the shelves from keeping mulch and seed. enduring well.For our garage, I also bought the Rubbermaid track shelves. In comparison, the tracking is obviously a little more flexible, but installation is a little more challenging and messy. Compared to the track storage, these shelves feel considerably more sturdy.Update 4/29/2016: I still adore these shelves, and they worked perfectly with the HyLoft Add-On Storage Hook Accessory for HyLoft Model-540 Ceiling Rack that I bought. It would have affected the installation heights if I had bought the hooks at the same time as putting the shelves. I would advise you to buy the hooks along with this if you think you might want to hang anything under your shelves.

I have over 20 years of experience as a chef in the food industry, and I recently began selling my own brand of chocolate truffles out of my home with a cottage food license. After two moves, my old cube organizer was on its last legs and was causing me anxiety because two toddlers were yanking on it. Sometimes you don't want to replace something by spending a lot of money. This went smoothly and turned out much nicer than I anticipated. But I can't give it five stars. While I was assembling it, one of the connectors broke. You receive more as a result, but I'm annoyed because I finished putting everything together before I realized it. Along with what others have said, I dislike how the connectors lack closed versions for the tops and sides. This took me ten minutes to put together. If I hadn't been pulling on it or my kids, it would have taken less time.

For the price, these are excellent shelves. I built them in the two half-size format seen in the photographs, first building one full size and then the other. It did take some effort to put together, but the second one was simpler. In the end, I used a screwdriver to slightly enlarge the slots before inserting the components. made the procedure more seamless. Not as simple to assemble as the amazon brand, but well worth the admission fee. I've previously purchased items under the Amazon and origami brands. I would definitely purchase a second one if I needed a shelf with a strong/light frame.The only significant drawback (relative to the price) is that I need to purchase spray plastic or something similar for the half-size shelf layout because the corners of the frame's top are fairly sharp. Another review also provided an explanation for this, and I agree.

These shelves are fantastic, sturdy, and attractive. Because I wanted my kitchen to have a professional appearance, I had them put in-between kitchen cabinets. I washed pots in a hotel in my late teens; the setup was similar, so I tried to imitate it. After seeing them installed, even my builder, who has been constructing for more than 20 years, was amazed.

This item was easy to assemble, has a good appearance, and is quite durable. I think the assembly took me a total of 15 minutes. I presently use it to display four of my fish tanks, and I adore how it does so! It only goes to show how strong it is even though I'm sure many people wouldn't use this shelf for this buy. The shelves don't sag or warp even though my largest tank, the ten-gallon one at the top, weighs 80 pounds. I would repurchase this!

I adore this storage unit so much! We needed something substantial to store our family of 4's shoes because between the four of us, we had a BUNCH. And intended to store more items on the top two shelves. This took me 15 minutes to assemble on my own. It's so durable! For the price, it is unbeatable! I advise each and everyone to do this.
