This is a traditional kid's toy. I bought this for my daughter, who enjoys it. Since many of us had Little Tykes hoops as kids, I honestly bought it without reading the description. However, I was pleasantly delighted to learn how flexible it is and how high it can go, so we can keep rising it as she grows! The quality is good, and I'm confident in its durability. We put water in it even though the base instructs us to put sand in it. It can leak if it were to tip over, but we haven't encountered a single problem with it doing so (yet). EDIT: Because they play with it so much, this contraption spends the winter in my hallway/kitchen. Children in our basement screamed terrible murder when I tried to place it there. My 5-year-old performs one-handed Air Jordan dunks at the highest setting, while my 2.5-year-old performs the traditional hook shot. For a few reasons, I would suggest this product. The pricing is absolutely ideal for this product; even though it is constructed of less durable materials than steel, it nevertheless does the job. Simply take it out of the packing and glue it to the bathroom wall to get it set up. Speaking of packing, this item comes in a fairly little one that might probably fit in my mailbox, so I guess that's a positive.However, there are a few areas where I could do better. For instance, the length of the rope that emerges from the basket is a little too lengthy in my opinion, forcing me to position the entire setup a little higher than I had hoped. Due of the rough-and-tumble nature of toddlers, I also wished there were three suction cups.Overall, this is a good tool to add a bit more fun to a toddler's bath time. For my toddler and I, this product has made bath time go by a little more quickly. However, there are a few things I would change for improved stability, including shortening the rope and even adding a third suction cup. This is without a doubt worth the cost, save from those minor drawbacks.

Because the bolts were the wrong size, I only rated it four stars. I don't recall having any trouble putting it together, but, like in another review I read, the bolts were the wrong size. They couldn't fit through the backboard's holes. When a different customer raised the same problem, he decided to drill his own holes. I, however, went to the hardware shop with a backboard and some bolts in hand, and I was able to find bolts of the same length that would fit the holes. It was mended for less than $1 after that. We haven't played with it too much, but we love it! I appreciate the clearness and size of the backboard. There is plenty of cushioning throughout to keep the door secure. Additionally, it properly covers my interior door.

For the price, this small hoops is excellent. Considering how hard my 8 and 10 year old boys have been slam dunking in it, it's fairly strong. Just because of the size and the net falling off, I awarded it four stars. It is compact and still functional without a net. Although this little hoop isn't great, you get what you pay for.
