To replace the one that was damaged on our RV, I bought these door holders. Where the old one was, the new one matched perfectly. No new holes needed to be drilled. Very well done. minimal tools, took roughly 15 minutes to install. When finished, I used a tiny bit of caulk around it.We have a backup, and it works fantastically. The cost was also reasonable.

Although it works, the motor's engineering could be improved. The original was just as horrible until it perished with the RV a year after it was first manufactured. So, I don't have big expectations for the replacement motor. Considering that it will need to be replaced every year, I should look for a better choice in the future.

appear to workThe originals that came with the cargo trailer were similarly inexpensive.Just keep in mind that the strange-looking screw head is probably just a square drive, not a torx or an allen.UPDATE: BOTH were destroyed in under a year. The rod and the component that attaches to the trailer are both broken. So I simply went to the neighborhood RV store and bought metal parts. You might be okay if there is no wind or uncooperative employees.

These are sturdy things. To put my 2000 x 2500 vehicle awning to a Toyota 4Runner with Yakima round bars fitted, I bought a set. For the u bolts I used, I had to drill my own holes, but it is sturdy. Definitely, I would purchase these again.

Since camper awnings cost four times as much, I used this piece as an awning on my truck bed camper. The mounting to the camper required some engineering, but it wasn't too tough. Once mounted, it set up quickly and easily.

This awning is pretty good, and my other one from the "Off Road Gear" brand is of like quality. It was easy to attach to my truck's rack because it came with all the required mounting gear and only took about 5 minutes!incredibly simple to set up and take down with only one person. Simple with two people!I attached the "TuffStuff" add-on Windbreak wall, and it works great! Before inserting any accessories into the aluminum channel, you must detach the end caps on the awning!I was able to secure my full size (8.5x8.5) off-road gear mosquito net room to the bottom of it, and I used 550 paracord and duct tape to secure the extra material to the awning leg pole. All I can say is: BUY IT for the price!
